Head north to Petoskey, Harbor Springs, or take a day-trip to explore Beaver Island by taking a nearby ferry. Our location is convenient to Traverse City, Bellaire, Boyne City & East Jordan. Be sure to check out some of the best wineries and vineyards in the Midwest while you are here as well as sights. Summary: Irene was an incredible host and very responsive to inquiry before booking and during. This cabin is very large! The kitchen and dining area is wonderful. The large deck spans the entire length of the house. We would definitely stay again!

Summary: We had a great time. The property was as advertised. I had one minor question about the location of the outdoor trash bin and I received an immediate response. For what you get the price was very reasonable. Hard to beat the value.

Summary: Our family had a wonderful week staying at this beautiful, quiet house. The atmosphere of the property was truly peaceful. We enjoyed eating breakfast on the deck every morning and unwinding after a busy, fun filled day by sitting on the deck and enjoying the wildlife.

Summary: We loved this place so much. It was perfectly set in the woods but still had a few neighbors nearby. A view from the balcony was picturesque and Serene. My kids love the bunk beds as well as the games provided. They also loved the fire pit. The host did a great job of stocking the house, especially the kitchen and bathroom. We will definitely rent this place again when we're in the area.

Summary: This property is in an excellent location to explore Charlevoix, Petoskey and Elk Rapids. We especially liked Norwood Township Beach, Otis pottery and kayaking on Lake Charlevoix. The staff at Summertime Rentals was very kind and helpful. The house was very clean and had so many extras: the kitchen had all cooking utensils that you could want as well as spices. The shower was amazing. The beds were very comfortable. This was one of the best vacation houses in which we have stayed…thanks!

Summary: Easy checkin, loved the kwik set lovely system, easy to operate, kitchen is great and open that leads to a very large deck, bathroom is modern and big, bed and bedrooms are comfortable. The house did get humid, needed to use a fan or open windows to assist with the humidity, but this was so minor, we would definitively return if we are ever in the area. Overall, great private, quiet, cozy home surrounded by beautiful trees. Great location to beaches and to the state park and lost cellars winery.

Summary: The house is lovely - very clean and nicely updated! A deck runs the width of the house and provides a beautiful view of the woods. The kitchen is spacious and nicely equipped. A quiet Lake Michigan beach is a five minute drive away. We stayed 3 nights and hope to stay again in the future.

Summary: We loved staying in Irene’s Charlevoix home! It had plenty of space for myself and my partner. The kitchen was large and well stocked. The bathroom had great amenities and the shower was amazing. We loved sitting on the deck in the morning with some coffee and listening to the birds. The property was lovely and quiet, and a great base camp for exploring from TC to Petosky. We would love to stay here again!

Summary: It was easy checking process. When we arrived the code for the door was provided in advanced and we were in the house in the seconds. We woke up with singing birds. The place was very clean with all linens provided. It is really 5 min drive to the Lake Michigan beach. We took a great walk and saw a spectacular sunset. And 15 min drive to Downtown Charlevoix with cozy coffee places and restaurants. It has beautiful Lake town. Also we visited (10 min drive) Fisherman Island State Park with great hiking trails. When we got back we grilled steaks and vegetables: the house had all needed equipment. And relaxed on the deck. We used 2 bedrooms with very comfortable queen beds. I would go back there at any moment if I could.
