BRAND NEW TO VRBO, THIS IS A GREAT HOUSE & IS EXCEPTIONALLY CLEAN & WELL MANAGED - SO GIVE US A CHANCE :) This is truly a fantastic find. Located near the Ashokan Reservoir with incredible sunset and mountain views, this house has everything you need for a wonderful family vacation. The facilities include: large swimming pool, spacious grassy area for badminton or general running around, ping pong table, grand piano (the owners who are professional musicians are happy to share with their guests), as well as a firepit for the obligatory vacation s'mores. For long term summer rentals, the property also has a fenced organic vegetable garden plot. The house is located near to the bike path which runs along the reservoir. It is equidistant from the most famous small town in America (Woodstck), and the first capital of NY (Kingston). It is spacious and peaceful and boasts - 3 bedrooms (2 queen beds, 1 full bed, 1 single bed, and 3 queen futon beds), 2 bathrooms (one with new steam shower), a fully equipped kitchen, a large living/dining area with cozy gas burning fire. For the summer months there is central AC to keep you cool and a covered porch to enable you to sit outside at any time. There is plenty to do in the area including hiking, biking, antiquing and you can always just relax by the pool. Summary: Usually the options for pet friendly homes are not very nice but this place is different! Quiet, well equipped home with beautiful views! Close to hiking trails and the reservoir. Short drive to downtown Woodstock. Perfect layout for spending time with family and friends. Small screened porch and deck but more seating in the back and around the fire pit. I hope we can return when the pool is open! We all were very pleased and enjoyed our stay!

Summary: My family and I had a wonderful stay in this house! The area is beautiful with lots to do, but honestly we were so entertained at the property that we will need to come back to explore some more. The pool area is great, and there's also a fire pit for s'mores and a great grill and outdoor setup. Inside everything was perfect and very comfortable. Plus: a shower sauna. And finally the property manager couldn't be nicer and he gave us lots of useful advice on where to go. This is the perfect place to relax with a large group without stepping on each other's toes. I would love to return again soon!

Summary: An ideal home with stunning views of the reservoir out the front and beautiful forest out the back. It was the perfect location and property for our stay. It could accommodate many more than my family of three while also intimate enough for just the two of us to get away. The interior is thoughtfully designed for all guests to be comfortable. Immaculately clean and well kept, with giant picture windows throughout. I've done many home rentals and cannot recommend this one highly enough. And the pool wasn't even open yet when we stayed!

Summary: We loved our stay at this Fantastic Family Vacation Home!! Too bad it was just the two of us. We intend to book again when we can take the kids and grandkids. The weather was not ideal, so we really couldn't experience all of the great things about this VRBO. The pool is very inviting and very clean. In fact, the whole property is clean and very tidy. There is ample outdoor space for games, with a barbecue area and fire pit. Inside the house, you'll experience a calm and serene atmosphere that lends itself quite well to a big chill, which is exactly why we chose to go here. We are already looking at a summer date when we can take the family.

Summary: OMG!! the isolated location still near enough to the nearby happening town of Woodstock (filled with variety of shops, restaurants, fine arts, clothes & liquor & grocery stores) ... the view from the different porches (one even screened in so rain was not an issue) the huge glass windows that make you feel like you're watching sublime shifting paintings .. ...., the open layout of the house but still with plenty of privacy....the surrounding area of lakes and rivers you can easily drive to for a sensational dip into natural waters, the luxury of a baby grand piano in what looks like a small concert hall, great open kitchen for cooking and dining, the open fire pit for evening marshmallow roasts, ...everything about this home was just deliciously comfortable (really cozy bedding) ...the warmth of simple luxury was like nothing I'd ever experienced before, and I have stayed at VRBO's around the world. Five of us (my husband, our 13 year old daughter and her friend, and my 26 year old niece) were absolutely delighted and didn't want to leave. Beautiful beautiful beautiful home. OMG !!!
