Come and enjoy newly furnished 6 bedroom hillside cabin! This home offers luxury and comfort in the country. Relax in the outdoor game room and cook dinner over the propane grill, take a walk in the woods or wet a hook in the pond or creek! Wildlife seen on property includes deer, ferrel hogs, turkey, armadillo, raccoons, squirrels and hawks. Woods are a mix of majestic elm, pecan, oak, and bois d'arc trees.
Bedrooms include 2 downstairs king master suites with private bath rooms; the downstairs queen bedroom and 4 twin bunk room share a Jack and Jill bathroom; 2 bunk rooms upstairs have 4 full and 8 twin beds. Huge, open kitchen for entertaining with granite countertops is great for family meal preparation and serving. In addition to cooking and eating utensils in the kitchen, we also stock one-time plates, forks, spoons and drinking cups. Guests can use the laundry room which has a large-capacity open-top washer and front door dryer. Laundry detergent, bleach and fabric softener are provided.
Conveniently located off Texas State Highway 82, 15 minutes west of Sherman, less than an hour from Frisco. You are only a few miles from antiquing/junking in Whitesboro downtown area, visit the Lovejoy's for a shake! Take advantage of nearby Lake Texoma for boating and fishing, or visit the Hagerman National Wildlife Refuge.
When requesting reservation, please describe the reason for your travel and the number of people in your group, including the children. There is a maximum 22 people that can stay in this home including children. Renter must be at least 25 years old. We are sorry, but due to wildlife considerations, and out of concern for the safety of your animal, NO PETS are allowed.

Summary: We had family members traveling from several areas, so we decided to find a rental home. This place accommodated our family very nicely, and truly surpassed our expectations!!! We didn’t have to find things to do as the “backyard” had several outdoor games and places to just sit and enjoy the view!

Summary: We couldn’t have been more pleased and impressed with this beautiful and private home. There was plenty of room for 16 adult family members with activities consisting of ping pong, fishing, grilling and visiting/partying in a wonderfully appointed patio area. Reality incredibly exceeded expectations. Do yourself a favor and check it out.

Summary: We enjoyed everything! Matt was so responsive to all of our questions. He even brought out an inflatable kayak for the kids to play with in the pond. The house was equipped with everything you could possibly think of, which made it very convenient for our family reunion. The decor was based on authentic Texas flair and holidays (4th of July for us), making it very festive. Best VRBO rental experience we’ve ever had! We highly recommend this home!

Summary: Our extended family truly enjoyed our Thanksgiving Reunion at this fantastic Ranch house. The scale of this house does not show in the photos-it was plenty roomy for 4 families. The kitchen was stocked with everything one could possibly need. The mud room had tons of games to keep adults and kids entertained. The house is beautifully decorated and feels very comfortable, warm and homey. The detached grill/rec room had additional restrooms, tv, extra frig, and games such has large scale Jenga and connect 4. We saw a large group of turkeys and wild pigs. We caught bass in the fish pond. We would definitely rent again!

Summary: One of the Best vacation homes I have stayed in. Family came from Michigan and San Antonio to see my niece graduate. Had a great time. The house was stocked with everything we may have needed or forgotten. The teens and adults alike had a wonderful time with all the games available. We will definitely book this rental again.
