Summary: FYI- the property is on the 3rd floor- no elevator and a twirling staircase. Once you make it up the stairwell, the loft and balcony are adorable and clean. The beds are comfortable. Only a tiny couch in the living room but we spent most of our time on the lovely balcony nestled in the trees and above the hustle and bustle. There are 2 bathrooms which was really nice- both w showers. Make sure you pick up toilet paper on your way in as none is provided. From Aravaca to the center of Madrid is about 20-30min via taxi (€20-€25) or a 45-1hour adventure via the bus/metro (€3-€5). We opted for taxi as I was traveling w my senior aunties. The apartment is located in the adorable little barrio of Aravaca which is so quaint and everyone is so kind. There are some great restaurants as well- everything in walking distance in Aravaca. The barrio is quiet and asleep by 10pm. Not a lot of nightlife if that is what you’re looking for but it was great to go explore Madrid Centro and then come back and get a good nights sleep and an enjoy peaceful morning. There is a bakery w fresh bread and a butcher shop for fresh meats just around the corner. Marie communicated promptly w any issues and provided local eateries, etc. All in all it was a great stay and we thoroughly enjoyed Marie’s apartment.

Summary: Host wasn’t aware I was arriving the day of. Even though I had messaged her with a ton of time prior. She gave my cousin attitude on the phone demanding to speak with me about the booking when she was the one who was wrong, we missed the opportunity to go out to dinner that night since she was unprepared. There were not enough towels for everyone who was staying there so she had to show up that night. Also didn’t love the fact that there was a camera in the kitchen, felt very invasive on our privacy during the stay. Everything else was fine.

Summary: My family of four spent a month in Spain. We stayed in this property for almost 3 weeks and it was perfect. Everything was clean and in working order when we arrived. The location is outside of the major tourist areas but public transportation system made it incredibly easy to go anywhere in a reasonable amount of time. The neighborhood is very charming. Everyone seems to know each other and were kind to us. There are lots of shops and a few restaurants within walking distance, and several options on Uber Eats for times when you just want to relax and maybe have dinner out on the terrace. The owner was very responsive and helpful. She allowed us to extend our stay with no issues. Our kids didn't want to leave. We would definitely recommend.

Summary: The flat is a little outside the city centre but the transport links were pretty good. Situated on a road with a mini market, cafe, couple of restaurants, and bars within a minute's walk, nice terrace with afternoon sun.

Summary: Lots of space with all the appliance we needed and having a large outdoor space came very handy. Two full bathrooms was also an added value. Very quiet and close to everything in Aravaca.

Summary: Flat is nice and clean in a really good neighborhood. Wifi was not great but it was fixed with a network cable to the laptop. Everything you need is close by and Marie is an excellent host. Really enjoyed our stay.

Summary: Spacious place at a quiet location! The terrace is a big plus, and is perfect to enjoy summer evenings. Flat is fully equipped for a trouble-free stay. Plenty of stores around the corner to buy groceries, daily necessities, and some more. Caroli Fish Market has an amazing assortment of fresh seafood a few steps away. Heladeria Livorno is a local classic spot five minutes away. Short bus ride to Principe Pio Metro Station. Excellent communication with Marie Pierre (host). We are looking forward to enjoying the place again soon.
