This is no ordinary destination–it’s Avondale Hills Farm. This reconstructed farmhouse is situated on 41 Acres of beautiful hilly farmland. A pond, rolling creek, Native Plants and fresh springs help to encourage the incredible ecosystem here. We are home to Laying Hens, Lionhead & Holland Lop Rabbits, Nigerian Dwarf Goats, Juliana Pigs and a Barn Cat. We are known as a Bird & Butterfly Sanctuary, and are even recognized as a Certified Wildlife Habitat. We grow many Perennial and Native Plants to Help support the Biodiversity. All over seen by 2 livestock guardian dogs!
Completely renovated with all high end finishes, Theater room, Cafe, Great room and kitchen with 12 ft table and fireplace. Breathtaking views on top of the hill and barn down to the spring fed pond.
Each bedroom has it's own bathroom with 2 sink vanities. The Kid's / Young Adult's rooms have bathtubs. Each room is fitted with a 55" Ultra 4K TV.
The Theater room is outfitted with an HD projector that has access to, Blue Ray DVDs, Apple TV and also Nintendo Switch.
Two gas fireplaces create both heat and ambiance seasonally.
Hot tub is available seasonally (Winter Only)
Pool is available seasonally.

Summary: The Farm House was spacious, clean, & well-stocked with kitchen supplies, towels, linens, & games. Each bedroom having its own bathroom was so helpful for our 3 family, 3 generations group. There are fun attractions for children nearby, and also we were all content just to be on the farm with the pool, hot tub, yard, & of course animals! We will be back!

Summary: We stayed at the farm with our adult children, their spouses and our 3 grandchildren. The house is gorgeous, spacious, and very clean! We loved the pool, hot tub and relaxing on the beautiful porch. Farmer Pierre's communication was clear and informative. We all loved the seeing and visiting the animals. Definitely take the Farm tour! Farmer Aaron was gracious, informative and let the kids pet all the animals. They absolutely loved it. Everyone is still talking about the baby goats. Farmer John took time out of his day to talk with us and answer questions. They are all made the experience so unique and wonderful. We made unforgettable memories at the Farm. Check out Longwood Gardens - it's definitely worth a visit.

Summary: This home was as pictured, thoughtfully decorated and exceptionally clean. There was more than enough room for our group of 11. The kitchen is an exceptional space for family meals and game nights and the front porch rockers were a great place to relax an d enjoy the view. The kids emjoyed the entertainment provided in the theater room. The pool was kept clean and was a great way to entertain the kids and adults on those hot summer days. The hosts were very responsive to our questions needs and Farmers John and Aaron were so generous in sharing their knowledge of the farm and its resident animals. All in all, a wonderful family vacation.

Summary: We stayed here as a group of 4 families with young children for a week. The property fit us all easily, and having a bathroom with every bedroom was so nice. Everything was impeccably clean, and the kitchen has all the pots and pans and so on that you’d need. There’s a beautiful view off the front porch, with a ton of space for kids to run around on the grass. We arrived end of June, so the pool was quite cool when we arrived but after a few days it warmed up and was blissful. The large dining space was critical for our big group, and the dining chairs for adults were super comfy. This was important because there wasn’t a couch, so we spent most of our time around the dining table. There’s a movie theater room that fits 6, and a living room with another 6 or so chairs. They have tons of movies and even some video games. The farm tour was really nice, and the kids loved going to see the goats and feed the pigs every morning. Highly recommend this house!!

Summary: We had a wonderful time on the farm in Avondale, PA. Farmers Pierre and Aaron manage a lovely property with adorable animals and fragrant lavender. They were busy working the farm, but quick to answer and tend to anything that came up on our stay. We found the farm house very clean and comfortable for the twelve of us (6 adults and 6 kids). The front porch, kitchen, theatre room and pool allowed us to gather and thoroughly enjoy our family time together. Farmer Aaron gave us a tour of the farm and we found him to be very informative. The kids loved learning about the animals and having the opportunity to hold, pet and feed them. The location was perfect for a couple of kid excursions - Thomas the Train and Sesame Place. We had a fabulous week and made memories that will last a lifetime. Many thanks to Farmer Pierre and Farmer Aaron.

Summary: The farmhouse was a dream house! It was so beautiful and felt like a true getaway with our extended family. The selling point of the home was the huge dining area attached to the kitchen with a massive island (my mother-in-law kept saying how much she loved the dining table). Loved the lighting that would come in daily to brighten up the home. All the beds were incredibly comfortable - in fact, better than the mattress I sleep on. The bathrooms are nicely renovated. I just love the whole style of the home - it's my style. We also used the hot tub outside, which was nice - I haven't really used one in the past. The best part of our magical experience at the farmhouse was the farm tour with Farmer Aaron. My young children loved the baby goats, pigs, chickens, and the guardian dogs and were obsessed with the bunnies. Farmer Aaron was so friendly and patient with our large group, and that made our overall impression of our wonderful memory making experience at the farmhouse. I would love to come back here in the future!
