Maximum occupancy is 4.

Summary: My husband and I absolutely loved staying in this ultra-comfortable and thoughtfully furnished cottage. The two stone fireplaces, tree branch stair rails and posts, and pine floors, ceilings, and walls were a delight. There is a verandah off the living room with great views of the mountains and trees and a patio with the same views plus a hot tub. It was a wonderful experience to watch the sunrise from the verandah. We stayed for a full week and would have liked to stay another week. It is the best place that we have ever stayed anywhere!

Summary: This property is spectacular with breathtaking views, impeccable outdoor (and indoor) spaces, lots of amenities, and serious privacy. There were abundant linens and towels, a well stocked kitchen, lots of information in a binder, and it was decorated beautifully. We loved having firewood and waking to the views and birdsongs. That said, one of the main draws was that this is a farm with live animals, chickens (and eggs), and opportunities to engage with them. There was not a single animal here when we were here (other than deer sightings in the evening). Although this was disappointing, the place itself was still totally worth it. It's really a special escape.

Summary: Beautiful property - really enjoyed walking the property and up to the ridge, plus feeding the animals. The views are beautiful and it is very peaceful and quiet. We enjoyed fun activities available in the area - Creeper Trail bike ride, a play at the Barter Theatre, Farmers Market and walking the downtown in West Jefferson, Pie on the Mountain Pizza and Molly Chompers cider tasting in Lansing. Thanks to George for checking on us and being a nice host.
