Positive: Very quiet hotel with 2 comfortable seating lounges. Good A/C in rooms. Excellent beds. Truly excellent staff that speak very fluent English and go out of their way to please.

Negative: There is no elevator in the hotel which is 3 floors high. Shower floor is dangerously slippery (no mat provided).

Positive: I had an amazing 3 night stay at the FAUNA Hotel. I felt welcome in this beautiful place. My room was large, well appointed the bed was very comfortable Not knowing the area I thought I may need to take Uber from the Ferry to FAUNA. I'm so glad they suggested the 14 minute walk would be enjoyable. It was a delightful introduction to the city.

Negative: I truly liked everything. The only thing I might mention is to just be aware there is not an elevator. Worth the steps, though.

Positive: Exceptionally unique and beautifully furnished and decorated with midcentury antiques. Great quiet location in ciudad viejo. Lucy at reception was wonderfully helpful and accommodating.

Negative: Very minor but because it’s an older property, the outlets in room were a little awkward to find and utilize.
