Positive: Fabulous location, quiet, great views yet a few minutes walk from the village centre. Very comfortable, spacious and clean.
Negative: Wasp nest above kitchen window so wasps entered when window open. No soap in either bathroom or shampoo etc. Need new frying pan! Shower in house bathroom had issues with heat/cold control so couldn’t use it.
Summary: Fabulous stay despite issues above which, if resolved, would make it perfect.

Positive: Beautiful views around of fields Great location to walk into pooley bridge Peaceful street Parking for 3 cars Beds were mostly comfy
Negative: Plug sockets were hard to reach in Twin room, behind beds, maybe an extension be good to get power near mirror or by bed for phone charging. Probably time of year but lots of wasps outside making it hard to have windows open, without them coming in. Double bed was bit soft Twin beds were good firm mattresses, we used spare quilts for bit of extra padding, more to adapt to our choice of comfort.

Positive: Excellent position in the village and close to the lake. Light and bright large bungalow and very well equipped.
Negative: There is no provision for the outside space to eat or relax.. very small backyard with inadequate aged seating. Overgrown front patio with seat but no view for the overgrown bushes. Terrible mattress on double bed.. bumpy and hard. Not one comfortable shower out of 3. The family bathroom screen allowed the floor to flood. On suite over bath head came off and the stand-alone shower trickled. The smell of the damp in the house permeated our hair & clothes. We could smell it even when by the lake or walking on the fells. Now we are home our bags and cases smell of it. The house needs aired and loved. It really is a beautiful place. Around the property, there are loose paving flags, one outside the back door and one on the corner at the front. There's a wasps nest outside the back door... no fault of anyone's, but it does need consideration as you can't open the kitchen window or back door. I feel sad leaving all these comments, but it is only fair on people who are spending hard earned cash expecting a lovely stay... it could be so much better.

Positive: The property was spacious, comfortable, clean and well equiped. Ideal location for the village and lake with lovely views and easy walking close by. Plenty of parking space on site.

Positive: Brilliant location, gorgeous views. Everything was provided for in the cottage, very well equipped. like a home from home.
Negative: Overall the place was lovely, the baths in the en-suites could do with updating, they were of a late 70/80s design.

Positive: Location was excellent. Property a little dated but had everything we needed for our short break
Negative: Smoke alarms were beeping intermittently when we arrived. Contacted cottages.com but unable to resolve issue when we arrived on Saturday , had to go and buy batteries and fixed it ourselves. Hot water pressure in ensuite shower and wash basin was poor
