Positive: Very friendly host. The apartment was a decent size and plenty big for a couple. Very large bathroom, which was nice. We enjoyed having a washer and the drying rack worked out nicely. The host speaks perfect English. It's always good to learn some basics when traveling; however, it's refreshing to have the ability to clearly communicate. The location is perfect. A short, very doable, walk into town. We will definitely try rebooking when/if we return to Berchtesgaden.

Positive: We loved our time in this sweet little paradise. Gabriele was an amazing host; she was so easy to communicate with and was there to check us in when we arrived. We were lucky enough to be there on an evening that her vegetarian restaurant was open...and what a treat. We never expected to get a 7-course vegan meal in Germany, let alone right underneath our apartment. An absolutely treat and special memory. The location was perfect, within walking distance of town and close to some fantastic lakes, hikes, and other touristy sites. The kitchen had everything we needed to make coffee and some light snacks. The deck has a beautiful view of the mountains, and the garden area was a nice place to sit and have a glass of wine. This is a very special place.
Negative: One night was very hot, and we had a hard time sleeping; a fan would have helped.
Summary: A lovely apartment with a fantastic host. We will be back someday.

Positive: This is a stunning apartment in Berchtesgaden where we had an amazing stay! Gabriele was an incredible host who is really friendly and lovely. She gave us absolutely fabulous food recommendations, and those places ended up being our favourite restaurants. We were sad we missed getting to eat the brunch she serves (we weren't on European timezone yet). The apartment has beautiful mountain views and is really cozy. We loved the bed (our favourite bed from any vacation) and slept so well after a long flight. Highly recommend!

Positive: Characterful, comfy apartment with 2 outdoor spaces to enjoy the beautiful views, a little kitchen with everything you would need and a brilliant location with free parking. Gabby our host was so helpful during check-in and available throughout our stay. We would love to return!
Negative: Only thing would be a blackout curtain in the bedroom as we were lucky to have such sunny weather during our stay.

Negative: Apartment accessible via an external stair. There are so many items already in that there are not so many places to put yours. distribution of rooms a bit illogical: entry is basically in the large bathroom, then you move to the kitchen and finally get to the bedroom price is high but we could not find good for less in the area so probably adequate (?)
