Fern Garden is a 1,400 square foot cabin in the Clifftops gated community in Monteagle, TN. This quiet cabin is 5 miles from the entrance and .75 miles from the lake. It is a log cabin with open floor plan. Living, dining and kitchen areas in the main area with two side bedrooms. (master bedroom with bath and one guest room) The cabin sleeps 6 maximum (one fold out sofa). The cabin has wi-fi and a land line, TV with DVD player, and YouTubeTV.
Great for a weekend or week long getaway. There is a long front porch with seating and a screened in back porch. There is a grill on the back porch and an open fire pit. It is a nice place to relax and enjoy the woods and all the mountain has to offer. You can swim, fish or canoe in the lake. Also enjoy the pool with a bluff view by the entrance. A tennis court is located by the pool.
Clifftops is a 2000 acre community with 280 privately owned lots. It is close to the University of the South, Sewanee. A short drive to the South Cumberland State Park and many other hiking opportunities. It is a great place to explore the Cumberland Plateau.

Summary: Great communication leading up to our trip. Property was clean and well-stocked with everything we needed for a long weekend with two young kids. Even on rainy days, it was a quiet peaceful spot in the woods. Kids loved the cabinet of board games and enjoyed playing on the screened porch. Will return to Fern Garden in the future.

Summary: We stayed here to attend our daughter's graduation. We love how peaceful and comfortable this spot is. This was our second stay here and this time we got to explore Clifftops trails and the lake! We'd recommend. Owner was responsive and easy to work with.

Summary: We love this little cabin in the woods! It is exceptionally clean and very well-stocked. So private and peaceful. Our family stayed here during our son’s grad week at the University of the South and had the best experience. It does take about 10-15 minutes to reach the cabin from the entrance of Clifftops, but it’s well worth the drive! And Jeremy is a dream to work with. Highly recommend!

Summary: Lovely place and location. It's secluded and quiet despite being not far from Sewanee University. Very comfortable, clean, and spacious. Lots of deck and other outdoor space.

Summary: This is a great cabin in a beautiful location. The house was stocked with everything we needed and the host was very helpful when we had a question. I hope we can stay there again.

Summary: This is the 3rd house I have rented in this area and is my favorite. The location is extremely private and you have the feeling you are away from everything. The house is well maintained. I loved the cabin type feel and decor. It was not over the top rustic. I only wish the weather had stayed mild so we could enjoy the screened deck.
