Positive: Shared house but we met only one person. Its really great to have access to the kitchen, the living room, the garden. Its clean and beautiful!

Positive: Nice and quiet, host extremely helpful when we needed assistance. We did not use the common areas but it was nice to have them available to us. There were also some amenities within walking distance such as a pub and Chinese food restaurant.
Negative: There is no designated parking, and the parkade is quite a ways away. We did get lucky though and found free street parking but had to be diligent to ensure we moved in time to avoid a fine. The bathroom is a shared space, something we don’t usually do and something we overlooked when we booked.
Summary: Great value, responsive host!

Positive: We were only at the Fern House for one night, but loved being able to feel immediately at home. It really does feel like visiting a friend in Cork. You can tell that a lot of care is put into the property (detailed check-in instructions, fresh flowers, nice linens, etc.) and while of course, it was lovely to visit Cork city center, we also enjoyed that there was a pub and coffee shop right in the local neighborhood as well.

Positive: The location is great. The room was small but comfortable. The kitchen and dining area were good. Host was very friendly and helpful , made sure the washing machine was available for us.
Negative: Walking up three flights of stairs.

Positive: Cute house and rooms in a great location. The terrace is lovely and the kitchen is well equipped. Fresh milk and coffee/tea are available for breakfast. The city center is within walking distance, and there’s also a bus stop nearby. Áine is really nice and super responsive!
Negative: It got quite warm in the room, since it was in the last floor. Luckily there was a fan available!
