Summary: It was a good experience for the first time in a shared space. The neighborhood is a little ghetto but there are corner shops nearby for convenience and no one bothered us. There is a roku tv that we enjoyed using and a whole kitchen. The bed was comfortable and the AC was cold!

Summary: While we did arrive quite late, the code provided for the lock box was incorrect. Luckily, the owner was available by phone to provide the correct one right away. The lighting on the stairs kept going out and the numbers on the lock box were hard to read at night. With all the keys being alike, it was hard to find the right one for the many locks that had to be opened. The keys should have been labeled. The refrigerator was not clean, nor were the window sills or the blinds. The bedroom needed a lamp for the table and the TV was in a strange place relative to the bed. No on-site parking was available (the one spot was taken.) Air fresheners were plugged in to every room, yet there was still the smell of smoke or pot or incense. There was a lot of trash out front. There was not individual control of temperature, other than opening the window, which allowed street noise to be more easily heard. The bedroom was too narrow for the bed, not allowing entry from both sides. Only two bath towels were provided.

Summary: I arrived and only stayed an 2 hours, there were people in the room next to me and I could hear their co versation and movement... didn't know and I could have missed it but it was shared bath. I decided to book a hotel with more privacy, emailed the owner that I wasn't staying, left keys in box, asked if there was any chance for a partial refund and all he said was "so sorry" was prepared for the lost but a better response would have been appreciated.
