Positive: Overall the hotel was clean & comfortable, excellent location with beautiful views. It’s set high up so walking to town was ok but a lot on the way back and was a good 20-30 minute walk depending where you are heading. We took my mother in law who has mobility difficulties and uses mobility scooter, my husband had to lift this up the steps daily to charge which was not good. On booking her room I was assured that the hotel was suitable for people with these issues however on arrival we found 8/9 stone seps that you had to use to get into the hotel. The steps had a very strong bannister fortunately. The reception was upstairs and she had been booked a room upstairs that she would never have managed so a room downstairs was arranged with no problem, however this meant she could not come up to the communal lounge and join us for breakfast which was disappointing. The staff were very helpful and helped us take her breakfast on a tray ,but it didn’t have the same effect as we booked the holiday to spend time together. We were grateful for an allocated parking spot for the week, and this was also very helpful. Rooms clean & comfortable with everything you need, but need attention to detail ie: curtains ran off the track daily in both rooms, shower flimsy and small, housekeeping every couple of days to refresh towels etc. Continental breakfast was good, plenty to choose from too. The communal lounge had beautiful views over the sea and was pleasant to sit there in the evening. Staff were very nice & helpful I left a necklace by accident and they contacted me same day to post on which was kind.
Negative: Upstairs reception. Unsuitable for anyone with mobility issues and this should be highlighted in the hotel information. Small shower Could not have family breakfast together to to location of the lounge where breakfast was served

Negative: Expensive for what it was. We got the dark rooms at the back looking out to a cliff face. The single bed was too short for my son who's not particularly tall at 5'10"
