Situated in Pawling, conveniently 3 minutes from Main Street with Shops, Bakeries, Restaurants and Train Station.
The Stone Farm House, originally built in the 1950s, is 1 mile from Pawling village, the local go-to spot for boutique shops, restaurants and artisan food. Then enjoy many outdoor adventures at nearby Pawling Nature Reserve, Appalachian Trail and more (Check out our host guidebook under the “Where you’ll be” section for more recommendations.) All just minutes from Pawling Metro Station (1.5 hour drive from NYC or 2 hour train ride.)
The Farm House sits on 11 acres of upstate New York private woods. A peaceful getaway from the city madness, to slow down and reconnect with nature. Enjoy the indoor fireplace or outdoor chimney and property. The house has two gathering spaces; downstairs with an infrared electric fireplace and upstairs with wood-burning fireplace. Three simple minimalist bedrooms, One King (Saatva mattress), One Queen (Puffy Lux mattress) and Two Twins (Puffy Lux and Tuft & Needle.) Full double oven kitchen and fully stocked laundry room.
No pets. (Due to allergies)
No smoking.
No parties.
Guests have access to the entire house, with the exception of locked garage basement.
There are no shared spaces.
The property is open to roam with no fencing.
Enjoy and feel free to explore the 11 acre property, directly behind the house.

Summary: Our stay at the Stone House could not have been better! The area was so pretty and the house was very close to Pawling which had cute country shops and good restaurants. Lots of wonderful hiking trails! The house was a perfect for my husband, brother and sister in law and myself. The pictures show it all. It was really clean and had everything we needed in the bright kitchen!!! Thank you Brian and Rhonda, you were perfect hosts available when we needed you!!! Hope to come back!!!

Summary: We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The property is gorgeous, easy to get to, and close to the town of Pawling, which has just about everything you'd want to find. It was clean, roomy, and comfortable. Will definitely be coming back.

Summary: Our stay was booked for 6 nights. We were in town on business. However, if we were ever to go back to this area it would be a great place to play and explore. The outside of the house and grounds were spot on with the pictures provided. The fire pit was a great place to relax in the evening, listening to all the different sounds. If you have a large group contact the host for more patio chairs. There were only 4 and we had a party of 6. With that said, depending on how many people in your party will be driving, that could be a challenge. We had one car and a large diesel truck. The driveway is very narrow, so communicate with the host about parking. If someone in your group cannot maneuver stairs well or at all, this would be a problem as the kitchen is upstairs. There is definitely enough room to spread out and have me time as well as family time as the house is very spacious. It is a unique house with its own unique features. Brian was very good at responding to our questions and concerns we had.

Summary: Cool house! Great location too! Pawling is a cute small town with lots on the square. Poughkeepsie is 30 minutes away along with Danbury Ct. family memories made with our Cadet. House allowed us to relax, sleep, do laundry, eat local, and explore the area. Clean house and friendly owners. Thanks for allowing us to stay!
