Summary: I had a very relaxing overnight at the Fig Tree Manor. I was immediately welcomed to the house and shown to my gorgeous and comfortable room. There are multiple covered porches and a patio area by the pool. The house is beautifully decorated and stuffed with antiques - it was like walking into a museum. The living room is open for use by all guests and has comfy couches and chairs, shelves of books to read, and coffee, tea and water is available at all times. Morning breakfast was delicious and kept me full until dinner. There is a huge selection of movies available to steam in addition to all the regular options. There are several restaurants and shops within walking distance. I arrived a stranger and left feeling like family.

Summary: A groovy B&B. Relaxed and comfortable with genuine hosts. A slightly quirky little escape unlike any other in this neck of the woods. I'd visit again.

Summary: Christy, Tom, Molly were very nice people. I truly enjoyed my visit. Their breakfast was wonderful.

Summary: The interior was very interesting and unique. The rooms wwere spaciousus and neat and clean. We had our own sitting room with TV. The tub in the bath was an old claw foor tub but I am getting to old to try to handle getting in and out of that kind of tub safely. That was OK for this weekend because the weather was nice and going one night without a bath was OK.

Summary: My husband and I loved our stay at Fig Tree Manor. The hosts went out of their way to make sure we had whatever we needed. Our room was wonderful. AND-the breakfast was delicious. We will stay here again next time we are in Palestine.

Summary: Our first B&B experience. Comfortable room within walking distance of the little entertainment district. Tom and Christy were very welcoming and accommodating. Breakfast was excellent. Would stay there again if we're in town.

Summary: The Fig Tree Manor is a wonderful Bed & Breakfast property! My wife and I celebrated our fifth anniversary over a long weekend and were treated to exceptional hospitality by Tom, Christy and Molly. We highly recommend this property for a special occasion!

Summary: Took my wife there for her birthday and we had a great time, the hosts were very accommodating as they went out of their way to make sure the right wine and balloons and flowers were in the room upon arrival. The food was fantastic I had one of the best eggs Benedict I have ever had so good I had four more. The only negative I have was the bed was not very comfortable but I am of the mindset that if you are tired enough you can sleep anyway, all the perks were amazing. It was an absolutely beautiful and historic home with plenty of charm and great views. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking to visit Palestine and/or ride the Texas state railroad.
