"No, the square footage isn't a typo. It might be smaller than your bedroom at home but don't miss the chance to stay at Figgy Cabin where the glass vaulted ceiling and wide sliding glass door make you feel like you're living 1/2 outside!! The outdoor 'kitchen' area adds to the appeal of the space as does the outdoor 'livingroom'. The fresh berries and peaches (picked in the yard!) will remind you how fruit is supposed to taste, and the fresh figs picked off the tree outside the door is a unique experience. Beach-combing in the morning during low tide, and in the evening watching a gorgeous sunset were highlights I didn't expect. How many people can say they have kayaked in a bay off the Pacific Ocean - and it was only a few steps away!"
Our cabin is suited to single or double occupancy -the bed has adjustable head, foot and massage options- very comfortable with 100% cotton sheets, and views of the stars at night through the overhead skylights. The bathroom and shower overlook the fig tree. A flatscreen TV, coffee maker, electric kettle, pots, pans and some cutlery, glasses and plates, induction cooktop and fridge are some of the amenities. Weather permitting, we have set up an outdoor kitchen on the patio with electricity and cold running water. Cross the country road and you are at the ocean with the choice of several great walks. We are within a block of a great pub and a corner store with liquor and basic essentials and just a few blocks from our local coffee shop and a great spa near by.

We recently built a second outdoor kitchen that guests are welcome to use as well.

Summary: Closer to the beach than the listing let me thought it was. Google directions to the premises were incorrect. I stopped a couple of doors away from the premises and the owner came down the street to help me. The owners are very friendly and helpful. They have a good reputation with people in the community.

Summary: This was just what I was looking for, a nature break from a busy life. I wanted privacy and a people break too which was why I chose this vrbo over others. It provided all of that. I was lucky that there were not a lot of people around, it was quiet, beautiful weather, lovely hosts if I needed anything, walks along the ocean, sunrises and sunsets galore. The space was perfect for one person. The cleanliness for me was the selling feature and why I would go back in a heartbeat! Thank you Georgia and Ron.

Summary: Figgy cabin is a perfect rustic retreat! We loved grilling at the outdoor kitchen and eating fresh figs from the tree. With beach access just across the road, we also loved taking our paddle boards out on the sea at high tides, and it is a quick drive from there to some great hiking trails. On top of all that, Georgia and Ron were gracious hosts who helped us to feel right at home during our visit.

Summary: This place was just right for 2 of us. The location was perfect for beating able to get out and do some hiking close by, and having the pub up the road for the end of the day was great. Hosts we excellent, so friendly and inviting. My only recommendation would be to bring ear plugs and an eye mask, as the birds and the sun are up early, lol!

Summary: A lovely relaxed and calm environment. Loads of fun things to do in close proximity and most amazing sunsets. Georgia and Ron were brilliant hosts, making sure I had everything I needed and telling me about all the many things to do nearby. I will definitely be back!

Summary: You’ll be amazed at how little space you need once you get settled. I loved the unique artsy pieces all around the whole place from bed springs to iron sculptures and the gardens are beautiful. There’s also a chicken I called Henny Penny that wanders around clucking and searching for any tiny scraps of food or bugs. The view to the ocean was nice too. Ron and Georgia are very hospitable as well.
