Positive: Very relaxing atmosphere, very friendly staff even if they don't speak English. Rooms where nice, you have included on the price a Cocoa tour and an hour each day of hot/cold bath. A lot of nature, frogs, very quiet and remote. We absolutely loved it and it was one of the favourite places in Costa Rica. They make us feel like home :)

Positive: Beautiful, quiet place right in the jungle. We loved it here so much, unfortunately we could only stay one night. :-( The staff at dinner and breakfast was so lovely, the lady boss was very kind. The room, all made of wood, was so cozy, really big, special and privat. The free, privat hour in the spa was so special!! Never hat that before in CR. Also the included Cacao-tour on the next morning was great! So much magic happens on this finca. Don't miss to stay here if you're heading to Tenorio NP. 100% recommended!!!

Negative: Nothing to mention here... Just be prepared for a bumpy road for the last km's ;-)

Positive: I really liked the room, but unfortunately we had very loud neighbours and it killed the experience. Staff was nice. Breakfast ok.

Positive: This place is a bit magical. It is breathtakingly beautiful, peaceful and relaxing. The simplicity of Finca Amistad allows visitors to slow down and enjoy the natural beauty of Costa Rica. We enjoyed a cool chocolate drink upon arrival, served with delicious made on the property chocolates. The staff is incredibly kind. The porch on our cabin was perfect no matter what time of day. We visited the hot/cold tub for an hour before dinner, talk about luxury! Husband and son went on personal night hike to find frogs and snakes, and were not disappointed 😊 The farm tour was so much more than expected, even learning the value/purpose of mosquitoes! Saw a sloth on the tour. Didn't have time for chocolate making class but how cool that they offer one!?

Negative: The road to this resort from La Fortuna was crazy but the one leading to the Pacific coast was MUCH better 😊 Dinner was too expensive ($18 pp/homemade pizza) for what they served. Dinner details should be provided on website.

Positive: I really loved the atmosphere of the farm. It’s a really beautiful location with friendly and thoughtful staff. Plenty of opportunities to explore the grounds and immerse yourself into the nature and wildlife. Breakfast was great and I enjoyed the chocolate workshop.

Negative: The property is very rustic and felt a bit more like “glamping” than staying in a hotel/lodge. There were multiple roaches we encountered in our room as well as lizards etc. I think for the price I expected the rooms to be a bit cleaner and less exposed to the elements, but that’s part of the experience I guess! We were just surprised by how rustic it was and perhaps misled by other reviews, especially given the price.
