Positive: The cabins are cosy, the bed comfortable, the shower good. The pool and jacuzzi in the garden areas are great. Location is great for the many local cenotes. Unlike some of the other reviews, I found it to be clean and the jacuzzi worked well. The Internet worked.

Negative: Some facility to make or buy coffee. Some cups or glasses in the room would be good. There is little contact with staff, and no one is on site to ask if you have any questions. Have their number ready as to be let in you need to call them as there is not a reception.

Positive: The grounds were beautiful and very unique.

Negative: Upon arrival staff had no idea we had reservations but, quickly handled the situation. Beds were uncomfortable and very hard to sleep. Would have been wonderful if they would provide coffee makers but did provide a small fridge.

Positive: Homun is a wonderful town that thrives on the Cenote tourism, but mainly catering to Mexican tourists, espicallit folks from Merida out for weekend escapes and such. As Americans, we were a bit of novelty, but everyone was lovely and patient with our imperfect Spanish. The Finca itself is slightly hard to find; most street numbers are hard to spot from the street, and the outside wall is anonymous. But inside is a beautiful wonderland; it would be a fantastic place for a large family gathering or group of friends traveling together.

Negative: We loved everything about Finca Oz, the town of Homun and the State of Yucatan. Americans should be aware that English is not commonly spoken in Homun.

Positive: Great staff, very unique facility (our building was hobbit-like). The mini cenote pool and jacuzzi were clean and nice. Located in the small town of Homun. Very quiet.

Negative: The building isn't marked, had to ask around to find it.
