Talihaven – With three living rooms, six bedrooms, and three bathrooms, you can bring the whole family together comfortably. Two gorgeous stone fireplaces and a cathedral ceiling bring the wow and a fabulous game room delivers the fun. The extensive coffee bar makes liking people possible.
Start your day with a delicious cup of coffee from the extensively appointed coffee bar. Step out onto the deck and let the serene and peaceful visuals of the lake do their magic; feel the tensions you arrived with slip away. If you’re lucky, a bald eagle may perch on one of our lakeshore trees right before your very eyes.
Your group will love this property; kayaking, boating, fishing and other water activities right from the house. Nearby you'll find biking, skiing, snow tubing, archery, hiking, and golfing.
The game room boasts a 12' McClure shuffleboard table, skeeball, a ping pong table, an oversize Connect 4, and ring toss, and we have corn hole for playing outside on the lawn. Plus Legos, playing cards, puzzles, and board games are available, too.
The lower level has a large 65" Roku TV.
Summertime Water Toys: Five kayaks, two canoes and a pedal boat are included.
Talihaven is a large home that can comfortably accommodate up to 14 guests; located in Central Wisconsin within easy driving distance from Chicago, Milwaukee, Minneapolis/St. Paul, and Green Bay.
The house has a well-equipped kitchen with new appliances, two beautiful, massive stone fireplaces that we have converted to gas to make it easy and safe to enjoy having a fire, multiple seating areas, 2 large 4K Roku TVs for streaming, a DVD player, and WIFI. We have a spacious deck off the main level and a patio off the lower level, both of which overlook the water. A lovely 5-6 person hot tub is situated on the lower patio and overlooks the firepit and lake. The house is situated on a dead-end road on a wooded lot with direct lake access and 103’ feet of shoreline.

Recreation:
Just 2 miles away is Nordic Mountain Ski Hill. This ski resort offers runs for the whole family while encompassing a wonderful family atmosphere! Nordic Mountain offers skiing, snowboarding, and snow tubing for all ages. Cross-country ski trails are available at Nordic Mountain and in Mr. Morris County Park. In the off season, Nordic Mountain has FREE biking trails that cover almost every inch of their 104 acres!
We’re 1.1 miles from a state snowmobile trail.
With 96 lakes in the area, fishing in plentiful. The local marinas can outfit you with license, bait and tackle. Pontoon and speed boat rentals are available locally. Two boat launches service Mt. Morris Lake.
We are 1.4 miles from Mt Morris Hills in Waushara County. The largest park in the Waushara County Park system. There are over 4 miles of hiking and cross country ski trails and a shelter house with electricity and running water. There are also tennis courts, volleyball courts and playground equipment.
The town maintains a 3.2-acre park on the north shore of Mount Morris Millpond. The park is located on CTH G a short distance east of the entrance road to Mt. Morris County Park. Facilities at the town park include a boat launch, swimming beach, restrooms, picnic facilities and a shelter.
There are multiple challenging golf courses nearby: Waushara Country Club, a lovely 27-hole course open to the public is just 16 minutes away, and Two Oaks North, a wonderful 18-hole course, is 15 minutes from the house.
Try Archery Golf at North Fond du Lac Archery Club, just 8 minutes away.
The Lake:
Mt. Morris Lakes System is a flowage lake that is part of a five lake chain covering 172 acres located in Waushara County. The five lakes are known from north to south as Lake Alsfon (A), Lake Russel (B), Lake Hannah (C), Lake Morris (D), and Emerald Lake, (E), accessed by a channel under the foot bridge. We're on Lake Hannah (C). It has a maximum depth of 40 feet. There are two public boat landings. Fish include panfish, largemouth bass and northern pike. The lake's water is moderately clear. No wake before 10am and after 5pm - perfect for motor sports during the day and fishing or kayaking in the morning or evening.

This is a large house and our cleaners need time between guests to clean.
NOTES:
• WI-FI speed is 30Mbps. There is no cable or satellite TV.
• For the EV Traveler we have free charging using the NEMA 14-50 (RV type 50 amp) outlets located on the house and on the garage. You need to have a mobile charger to connect to the outlet!
• Spiral stairs have baby gates for safety.
• Bath towels, beach towels, pillows, and bed linens are provided.
• For those with littles, we have toddler plates, flatware, and cups, a Pack ‘n Play and a highchair.
• Board games, playing cards, and books are available for your use.
• Guests have access to the entire home, except for the locked owner's closet on the lower level.
• Washer and dryer available for guest use.
• Guests enter the home via the side door, using a customized code for the electronic keypad.
• The driveway is paved. It has a 10 degree incline that is short but steep. If you’re not up to the challenge of negotiating the hill, you can park by the garage. We have a large sled by the house that is great for transporting things up and down the hill during the winter months.
• There are three steps to the entrance.
• We have USB outlets in the kitchen, attached to the bedroom headboards, and on the ends of the recliner controllers for your charging needs.
• Amenities are not guaranteed.
• Host is readily available via phone for questions or issues.
