Positive: I don't really know where to start. The place looks freshly built, so I understand the shortcomings. -The room was very cosy, a small single, with a shower and towels + shampoo. - wardrobe - TV - really good bed!!! -Kitchen in room is big advantage in long stays!!! -Nice English speaking stuff. Really friendly!!!
Negative: - Getting around the facility = NIGHTMARE. No signs, there are a few companies on site, other elevators to other institutions, generally a mishmash.... and some information cards would be enough... Getting down to the underground garage was quite a challenge, getting up some staircase from there to the room is already an impossible mission... - rubbish on the shared hotel floor - the hotel floor is specific, because it is on the last open floor, also for rainfall, the slabs are alternating with stones. Definitely positive!!!!!. Unfortunately, guests from the east (?) decided that breaking both: empty bottles, and installations inside the rooms, is a great idea, so you walk like in a minefield because it is not easy to remove glass from loose stones. There is no problem from a concreted space, but with loose stones it IS a problem...And to be clear...I don't mind people, I mind hotel cleaning service!!!!You have no control who is booking, but you have control over who is cleaning...I was 2 days in that place, and rubbish was still the same... - No toilet paper in room, I don't know if that's the norm. - Reception is not clear marked, the same like entrance to it (no information on which floor is reception to hotel). - Google map not showing actual place...really be carful when you put navi address. The photos from google maps are outdated!
Summary: Beautiful place, with vision...just need a little more time!

Positive: We stayed here for the Adele concert, but didn’t want to pay the outrageous prices from the city center. Public transportation was just as fine to get in town. Firstsleep was a modern building, inside and out. Finished quite recently I think. Our room was on the second floor, but there is an elevator so no problem. The room was very spacious. Luckily I saw in a previous review there were no coat hangers, so we brought our own. Otherwise the closets had enough space as well. Bathroom very clean and pretty. The kitchinette was small, but enough for a 3 day stay. In the middle of the building is a place to sit outside which was very nice and well maintained. We enjoyed some lunches here. They also made our bed on Friday and even did the dishes we left to do later (thank you, very nice).
Negative: It wasn’t easy to find, because it’s located on top of a Mercedes garage. I also read this in a previous review so kept that in mind. Getting in the building was also difficult. We hadn’t communicated our time of arrival upfront so there was no one there. I called the number in my booking and the man quite rudely interrupted me when I tried to explain we couldn’t get in to know at what location we were. He then told me he would call someone to come. A couple minutes later he called back, to make sure we were at the right location (which we were) and said that we should type in a code and a locker would open with our key cards. When that finally worked he told us what room to go to. The room itself was fine as I mentioned before. We did miss a couple of things: - a towel in the kitchen to dry everything off after washing them. Everything was put back wet by the previous guests. - No cleaning during the weekends, so no fresh towels either. - a mirror in the room. 1 mirror (in the bathroom) for 3 girls is not enough 😉 - coat hangers for clothes because personnally I like to unpack on trips - we didn’t know how to check out either, so just left the key cards in the room.
