Positive: Loved the view from the balcony. Was old but nicely maintained in most areas. Great for a family.
Negative: A little mould in the bathroom and dust. But lovely appointed rooms.
Summary: Absolutely perfect stay for a family. Great communication from owners. Clean and tidy and comfy beds. Great view!

Negative: No water pressure, worst shower ever. House looking dated and tired. Locks on doors so you don't use the space even though you are booking a 3 bedroom house. The owner hadn't made beds in bunk room which was reason she locked door on us. Supposed to accommodate 7 people yet only 4 seats in lounge room and 6 at dining table. Fishy ice left in freezer (so owners obviously don't check freezer) and it stunk. Luckily we didn't need to use freezer. The house has 3 bedrooms. Queen in main, Queen in 2nd br, and 3 beds (bunks) in 3rd BR. Apparently I'd only booked for 2 adults and my 3 kids (not my in-laws) and my intention a month ago was to put 1 kid in BR2 and 2 kids in bunks. When we arrive, bunk room locked. Called owner and told no access to that room as you don't need the space. How did he know what space we wanted? I wasnt going to fit the 3 kids in the Queen bed anyway! Highly unusual and is this common practice and people accept it? Owners wife arrives and apparently doors locked because beds still hadn't been made so she does that whilst we hang around. Quite awkward. I pay extra for my in-laws which is on me and I should have amended booking but it all worked out anyway. I knew we technically had enough beds. To get 7 people through the shower is a joke. It's a dribble. But the wife did say its getting fixed soon. But if owners knows this, why rent it out for premium price and not tell you? Either tell us the shower is crap or give a discount. Disappointed. Bed not comfy either. And we all couldn't fit in lounge. Definitely squishy for 7 people, and especially with only 1 bathroom, so again, lesson learnt. But luckily it was only for 1 night. We booked 1 month ago and left it too late apparently for this area (we had a kids party nearby) as this was all that was left. But not worth $580 per night for the 7 of us. Veranda is a bit old. Not even sure the railing is safe.
Summary: Overpriced for what it is and check with owner about water situation before booking.

Positive: Lovely location overlooking the water. Not far from Brisbane Entertainment Centre, which was the purpose of our trip. We needed 3 bedrooms for our family. The inside was very clean and spacious for our family.
Negative: The shower is not the greatest. Low water pressure and a very small space with low height entrance to the shower.
