Positive: Lovely quaint cottage with a warm homely feel. Excellent kitchen facilities and equipment. A superb power shower. Extremely comfortable beds. Excellent washing machine and outhouse facilities. Pleasant outside space. Secure for dogs.
Negative: The property looked very dirty and unwelcoming from the outside. Once inside the property is clean but has a serious damp problem in several places: the front right corner of the dining room as you stand in the kitchen doorway; on the ceiling and walls of the downstairs bathroom, and on the wall directly above the bed by the window in the twin bedroom. These were significant issues as they look unpleasant and for the first 2 days of our stay the house really did smell of damp until we could air it thoroughly. It’s such a shame because without these issues we would have scored it a solid 10.
Summary: Lovely cottage in a lovely village with a great local pub. Just needs the damp problem addressing to become top-notch.

Positive: Pauline 's cottage is so welcoming and comfortable. We settled in easily and really appreciated the personal touches she made; fresh flowers and some delicious Welsh treats! The local pub, The Brook Inn is about 3 minutes walk. The locals are welcoming and the food is excellent. Jane the manager is great fun we had a wonderful stay including my husbands birthday trip to Skomer which was beautiful.

Positive: The quintessential Welsh cottage. Cosy warm on a cold wet day but cool and great outdoor terrace for a warm day. We’ve never felt more at home. Everything we needed to cook, wash and chill! Perfect for coastal path walks and the bonus of a very friendly local pub, with great food and full of characters!!

Positive: We were met by the owners when we arrived. The cottage is an old stone building with parking directly outside, The people in Skye are generally very friendly and this was no exception. There is a nearby village with a good pub and places to eat although we mostly cooked on the property.

Positive: Fabulous location in a quiet village. The local pub is just a 2 minute walk away and a short walk takes you to the coastal path behind local sports field. there are also many beautiful places a short drive away, Dale, little haven, St Brides bay are just a few that we visited. Cottage was clean, well equipped and pet friendly. Cakes and flowers a nice touch.
Negative: Nothing, but as no local shops do take supplies for essentials. Local pub does do food but is quite basic from burger van.
Summary: Relaxing, great location for a base, very friendly locals
