Beach Bungalow is a vintage cottage with all the comforts of home for you and your furry friends. The cottage is located in Mexico Beach, only 3 blocks to the Gulf of Mexico, with availability for boat parking. Beach cleanup is easy with a full outdoor bathroom, including hot/cold outdoor shower. Enjoy the outdoor with designated seating spaces on the deck and covered patio. Both spaces are enclosed in the fenced in lawn which make a great space for furry friends to explore.
With a bohemian interior, great natural lighting, and genuine hardwood floor, it is easy to feel the artist inspiration as many pieces are unique such as the surfboard inspired coffee table. Vintage vibes surround offering cozy accommodations with 2 queen bedrooms and shared bathroom, single vanity and walk-in shower.
The kitchen and living room are connected with supreme functionality. the dining offers comfortable seating for 4-6 with outdoor dining options also available. The kitchen is fully stocked with all major appliances (less a dishwasher), dishes, utensils, and a starter supply of amenities.
Additional living space is available in the shed in the back lawn. the space is cooled by ceiling fan only and provides a second refrigerator, great for storing beverages. Please note, the second bathroom is completely outdoors with a toilet and hot/cold shower.
There are no parking restrictions and boats are welcome. The public boat launch in Mexico Beach is less than 4 miles down the street. Downtown Port St Joe is less than 10 minutes with additional boutique shopping and locally owned restaurants. The beaches in Mexico Beach are very family friendly offering exceptional shelling and surf fishing. Fall in love with The Forgotten Coast and the vintage vibes of Beach Bungalow!

Summary: The litttle house was cute but really needs some upgrades. The air would not cool the whole house so I used a fan i found in closet. Ceiliing fans would be a good idea and would help cool the house. The hot water would cut off during a shower, then had to wait for it to get hot again. No dresser in master bedroom. That was not an issue for me since I was alone but it could be for more than one traveler. The TV was hit and miss. No major networks and Netflix worked and then it didn't. The location was great and convenient,A large group might want a dishwasher. Not an issue for me since I never use one even at home.

Summary: When we first arrived, there was trash in the driveway, bottles and empty packs of sunflower seeds. We entered the house easily with the code and everything seemed to check out as identifid in the booking but I did notice the Queen bed had a slant to it. As we unpacked, we started to smell this awful scent, and looked for the culprit. It was a full kitchen trash can under the enclosed area with what I believe to be the last guest trash and dog waste. We also noticed a bed egg crate with the sheets still on it in the enclosed area. As we explored the house and the outside area, the fenced in area was entirely enclosed (which I was grateful for) but there was cracked egg shells thrown right off the back porch into the yard. Dirty tongs were also still on the grill from previous user. Later that evening, I got into the shower to find a good size crack on floor of the shower and the shower flooring was very flimsy and felt like you could go through it. Also dealt with the hot water going out and having to shut the cold water off until it got hot again. All of our showers afterwards were completed in the outdoor shower which we did love and didnt have to worry about hot or cold issues. I really wanted to love this place because it was cute and location was reasonable but there were alot of small issues that cleaning and some tlc to the property could have made for a great stay.

Summary: The decor was great for antique lovers: very unique. All appliances were in working order, the furnace, air conditioning were good. The lighting at the entry was terrible, making the steps very dangerous and the entry lock not visible in the dark. There was a shortage of linens. It was an easy walk to the beach which we enjoyed very much.

Summary: Couldn't speak highly enough about this place and the location. The house was perfect, the dogs loved the fenced in back yard, and the neighborhood was very quiet and safe feeling. Amazingly close to the beach access!! I highly recommend this place, I will certainly be back. Thanks!

Summary: We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The setting was clean, tidy , comfortable. Kitchen well equipped. Was very pleased, except for lack of continuity of hot water for showers.had mostly cool showers. That was one of 2 issues . The step down& up into the laundry room area., not marked. YELLOW OR ORANGE caution tape placed on the threshold . Would help prevent falls. We had to leave the light on in the foyer to remind us that the step was there as we all stumbled on it! Your cottage is lovely. Your interior decorations were unique and enjoyed. Really liked the beach theme, and the way the decor used vintage furniture and utensils. Although only one side of the toaster worked. Your facility is close to an excellent hospital. Your next door neighbors were very welcoming 😀 Even the raccoons across the street were friendly.
