Positive: Staff absolutely lovely. Very welcoming and helpful. View from balcony area 5 star. Resident cats pleasant to hang out with also. Location good for local bars/restaurants.
Negative: Noisy neighbours on first night but were dealt with swiftly. Besides that no complaints.

Positive: Beautiful location and view. Air conditioning was amazing. Nice shower and private bathroom along with cooking facilities. Owners were very welcoming and kind enough to take us back to the airport. The view from the balcony is spectacular. Can't recommend enough.

Positive: Flat Vista Mar was a great little find in FDN. The building is essentially 2 converted cargo containers stacked on top of each other. We had the most eastern rooms on both floors (the bottom "apartment" units include small kitchenettes and have direct access to the shared terrace/veranda that looks out north over a great view of a lush jungle of trees, the iconic Rocha Nega rock formation and the ocean, the upper floor has a larger triple room, a separate double room and a shared kitchen). The A/C in the rooms is very effective for sleeping at nights. The property is pretty basic overall, but quite comfortable, and the small kitchens allow you to keep cold drinks and food on site, and the views are stupendous. Cadu and Marisa were amazing hosts, always asking how they could help us with any need.
Summary: A Great Stay in FDN, Highly Recommend!

Positive: Idyllic island with many wonderful beaches. Great view from the sea-side apartments of Conceiçao beach close by. Walking distance of markets and restaurants. Uber available easily and the bus stop is very close as well. The apartments themselves are small but cozy and comfortable with a fridge and a full kitchen. The staff (Marisa) was helpful as well the 2 little cats that keeps me entertained. The only hard thing was seeing plastic detritus washing up in the beaches though the island has banned single-use plastic.
Summary: A front row seat to an idyllic paradise.

Positive: Our hosts, the owner and his wife were warm, lovely and very helpful. We were faced with flight cancellations on the way back and forth and they were flexible, accommodating, available and went out of their way to help us. The accommodation is very well located, within walking distance of the airport, town and beautiful beaches. The view from the terrace is incredible.

Positive: Everything. The view from the flat is incredible, and a great place to watch the sun go down. In the morning you could see dolphins out at sea, which was great to enjoy a morning coffee to. The kitchen was well equipped for making breakfast each morning. A final mention to the staff, Marisa and Matheus - both were fantastic, very kind and helpful. We will definitely be back.

Positive: Outstanding ocean view from the window, extremely hospitable hosts giving plenty of useful tips and accommodating requests, comfortable bed, every day cleaning.
Negative: The listing offers a private kitchen - but this isn't private - it's shared with another room. Not a big deal as the people I shared the kitchen with were lovely, but it's inaccurate. That also means that there isn't a private entry to the room, as you need to pass through the kitchen to enter it which compromises privacy.
