3 Bedroom House in Elmo

Private lake frontage [225 feet] with beautiful, newly constructed cabin and bunkhouse [2014] with waterfront fire pit and new dock. The main cabin has a double sofa pullout bed on the main floor accompanied by double bunk beds in the loft that are double beds on bottom and single beds on top. Also on the main floor is a 50 inch flat screen tv with DirecTV and dvd player accompanied by a full kitchen with small kitchen table and window air conditioner along with a full bathroom. The living room leads out to a wonderful large deck through a set of french doors overlooking the lake and the Mission mountains. The second smaller cabin [bunkhouse] has two additional sets of bunk beds, all of which are doubles. The bunkhouse also has a 40 inch flatscreen tv with dvd player and it's own air conditioner and a set of french doors leading out to a nice deck overlooking the lake. There is also a brand new master suite cabin that has a king bed and it's own master bath. It has air conditioning and a 40 inch tv as well. In front of the main cabin is a very large deck that sits out over the lake with a pergola, b-b-q, and comfortable seating area with a propane fire pit. There is an additional out building above the cabin that has a washer/dryer, spare refrigerator, toilet and an outdoor shower. Extra items on the property include a trampoline, hammock by the water and a basketball hoop in the driveway.
The property is very private on a large lot within 5-10 minutes of the closest restaurants and 20 minutes to shopping in nearby Polson and Lakeside and exactly 17 miles in either direction from the cabin. We are located 90 minutes north of Missoula or 35 minutes south of Kalispel which have the closest airports.

Summary: This is our second time staying at this property. The location is fantastic!! We packed a lot in from boating, canoeing, paddle boarding to playing yard games, basketball games (in and out of the water) to relaxing taking in the beautiful view!! We enjoyed our meals outside and ending each day with a nice cozy fire and roasting s’mores. We’ll be back next year :)

Summary: House worked great for our family of 6. We had kids ages 5-17 and everyone found plenty of things to do with kayaking, paddle boarding, snorkeling and rock hounding.

Summary: There are no words to articulate how perfect this entire property is! The amenities offered far exceeded any expectations we had! We were humbled by the owners’ hospitality, which is most clearly demonstrated by the fact they would even open to us what is clearly a very special place to them! The pride in ownership of every square inch of the expansive waterfront property was second to none! Immaculate. As a family of nine with seven kiddos, ages 6 to 15, there was not a single, “I’m bored” in 6 days at the house! If anyone became tired of the water, they laid in the shade, built a fire, set up and played a round of badminton or jumped on the trampoline. At night, we enjoyed the most robust collection of DVDs we’ve ever seen and caught multiple fish off the dock. Do not miss out on the opportunity to stay in what should be considered one of Condé Nast’s “Top 20 Travel Destinations”

Summary: If you like being outdoors and not cooped up inside, this VRBO is for you! Beautiful location, private and fantastic outdoor space!! The owners were very accommodating, got back to us promptly when we had questions. Our family had a wonderful time, we’ll be coming back next year!

Summary: We stayed for a week and had an amazing time! We all had our own sleeping space and the main house to eat and hang out which was great. The views from the dock were absolutely beautiful. The yard was huge with lots of grass to play outdoor games. Close to Glacier and shopping. Lisa was a great host and quick to respond. Would definitely go back!!

Summary: We loved staying on this side of Flathead. It was super convenient and had gorgeous views of the Mission Mountains. The property had amazing activities for the kids (ie trampoline, slide, dock). The only drawback for us, was not having the master in the same house as the bunks. Overall we really enjoyed our stay and the owners were super welcoming. Thank you for sharing your piece of MT with us!

Summary: This property has everything! It was perfect for multiple families. We each had our own space to sleep, but could all hang out together on the water. The place has everything you could possibly want to entertain all ages. It’s scary to give it a good review because I want to keep it a secret! Lisa, the host, was quick to respond to any questions we had. Check-in and out was a breeze. Currently getting online to book again next year!
