Summary: The good bits. The staff were lovely, friendly and helpful. The breakfast was great, although not a lot of variety each day. The location was good for sight seeing. The bad bits. The room we stayed in had very thin walls and no sound proofing. We heard people coughing, snoring, arguing, their television and even having sex. The air-conditioning was very noisy, gurgling with the sound of bubbling water even when turned off. The pool was green with algae on the steps. We didn't get one good night's sleep.

Summary: The father and son team were welcoming, the place is a Rustic Farm. We used the pool which was very clean. The breakfast was very good, a slice of omelette, ham, local cheese, bread, croissants and biscuits all set up on the covered terrace.

Summary: We really enjoyed our experience here in the "Hobbit House" While small it was generally well appointed, except for the self-catering being restrictive. The service was super friendly, the breakfast was good the hosts generous with their offerings and range of food. Good access to Alberobello and Matera for day visits.
