Summary: We stayed here for two weeks while visiting our daughter and her husband who live in Newburyport. We found it so convenient to their house and also to I-95. The house is located at the end of a quiet cul-de-sac so there is no traffic. We found it very peaceful. Although the owners were away, John was very kind and accommodating. Thank you so much!

Summary: The lodging is a very impressive and comfortable home built in the mid-1900's, situated on some four to five acres of lawns and forest, and on the shores of the Merrimack River, a major waterway in northeastern Massachusetts. And the innkeepers, man and wife, are delightful. I, and my friend, were made to feel very welcome from the outset. I would not hesitate to recommend this VRBO.

Summary: the property is a good place for an extended stay for professionals who need good access to NE Boston area. Finding any suitable place to stay is a very large challenge in NE Mass and this is a viable option for those who will most of their time working.

Summary: Reini and Colin are the perfect hosts. They make every effort to provide what is needed for an enjoyable stay. The studio was spotless and very comfortable. The location was fantastic - there was even a farm stand with fresh fruits, veg and flowers down the road. My dog loved the walks around the area also.

Summary: We had a six week stay with Colin and Raini as we were waiting for our new home purchase to go through. The studio was very comfortable and had everything we needed. Our hosts were very friendly and welcomed us into their home as if we were family.

Summary: We had access to most of the huge second floor of the house and kitchen privileges with bay window breakfast dining overlooking the river. The entry to the house is quite grand, white carpets included. We didn't see much of Colin, but Reini greeted us, shared a bit of the family history and thanked us we departed. Summary: The property is situated in a quiet cul-de-sac right next to the Merrimack River with beautiful view of the river and wonderfully decorated guest room. We appreciated the accommdations the Hodgsons provided to make our brief stay memorable. My wife especially enjoyed the conversations with Mrs. Hidgson on trips to various countries. Highly recommended for other interested guests.
