Positive: We've spent a few days around New Year there with kids and our dog, and it was great for everyone. I can't wait to come back again with relatives and friends! The location is immensely beautiful - it sits by the small river surrounded by mountains, with no other buildings in sight. There's also some kind of microclimate there - when we enjoyed the most amazing snow, just a half an hour drive away it was just rainy and grey. It's great to roam around even in winter, and in warmer months there are many trails to follow further from the house. The host, Niko, is very friendly and ready to help, and he made us feel very secure and comfortable there. We lived in a double bedroom part, which is on the second floor of the house. It has everything we needed - comfy beds with lots of extra linen, enough storage space, clean bathroom with a stock of soap and paper, cozy living room with a fire place and a TV that connects to YouTube, well-equipped kitchen perfectly suitable for cooking and baking for the whole family (the only things I brought from home that weren't there already were a blender and baking dishes). The house is warm - bedrooms have electrical heaters in them, while the rest of the floor is heated by the fire place, that provides an extra level of coziness and an amazing smell. Also we've got no problems with water pressure and temperature, electricity and gas. By the way, Niko has bees and makes amazing honey! Definitely buy some if you're there, it costs the same, if not less, than tasteless sugary stuff from the shops.
Negative: Just a few things to keep in mind so you can fully enjoy the visit: It's hard to get there (although it's well worth it) - we drove 6 h from Tbilisi to the nearest village on the road and then got to our host's SUV to make the final several kilometers to the house. When planning a visit, I'd suggest consulting with the host about the state of the road and the features of your car. If your car wont' make it, you'll have to rely on the hosts to get you there and back, and also for shopping, so you might want to stack up on food and pack everything in a manner that allows to move your things from car to car easier. Also, be warned that there's no WiFi there, and you'll need to use Magti mobile internet. The signal has a good speed, but it's not very stable, so you'll be able to watch YouTube all you want, but will probably have problems with videocalls. One minor suggestion to the hosts is to consider puttings some hooks on the wall by the front door for coats =)
Summary: Ideal place to enjoy amazing nature and have a quiet relaxing time with family, friends and pets.

Positive: The house is located in the forest, right nearby the river in a beautiful mountain surrounding. The house is clean, well equipped with everything you need for a living, with a good attention for details from owners (knives are all sharp, new good frying pans and pots, whole set of glasses, plates, and other kitchen equipment - you'll not miss a thing). You can warm the room with a wooden stove, owners will definitely help you with that. Outside there is a barbecue spot and a nice terrace with tables for a morning coffee or a dinner. Niko, the owner is always available for help, met us and showed us the way to the House when we arrived.You also can ask him to tell you about some hiking spots nearby (which are not listed in any map). Also there is a TV inside. Be aware that there is no mobile internet, nor wi-fi there, it only works on the road before the turn to the house. I can recommend that place for those who want to relax and unwind, who don't need internet during their stay and are ready to explore the wilderness a bit, but still have a comfortable house.
