Summary: This hotel is GORGEOUS! the rooms are beautiful, and had the nost comfortable beds of our trip so far. Restaurant is lovely, and the hot tub and spa are to die for. Staff was great. And did I mention thw waterfall right out the front doors?

Summary: Place was a great location to stay when visiting glacier lagoon, which is about a 20 minute drive! The sauna and hot tub was perfect after a day full of hiking! Make sure to make dinner reservations and take advantage of a great happy hour!

Summary: Hotel feels deluxe, and is overall a good experience. However, some things are advertised better than they are. 1. What they frame as "room with mountain view" is more a room with view to the parking lot, and half frosted windows not to let people outside look in. 2. Spa area is not up to par with other (even cheaper) hotels, sadly. 2 outdoor warm pools and an indoor sauna with no view (even though its up against an ocean-facing outer wall).

Summary: Gorgeous location, friendly and helpful staff, and we loved the outdoor hot tubs! The spa downstairs is lovely, and the breakfast was also very good. The one downside was in the bathroom it was an open shower with no lip or raised area, so the whole floor got wet. As downsides go it was minor. This is a great location for reaching Diamond Beach/Jökulsárlón.

Summary: Due to a last minute booking frenzy which was totally our fault, we had to book the executive suite for our family of 4. This last minute booking turned out to be the best stay of our trip. Private hot tub on the balcony with amazing views, plus a brilliant room overall. Wished we could have stayed another night!

Summary: Clean room and beautiful location. Amenities were great to still enjoy a day at the hotel while there was a snowstorm and road closures in the area. Delicious food and breakfast!

Summary: Great overnight pit stop after our glacier hike! The hotel provided a complimentary drink voucher to use at the bar - perfect after a long day. The room was spacious, clean and well stocked (robe and slippers provided). Lots of free parking outside. Would stay again!
