Summary: This is our third time here. Super comfy room, super friendly and helpful staff, very nice restaurant and it’s dog friendly! A great base to explore Snaefellsness from in your own time. There’s also a real nice local walk if you head down toward the golf course and into some woods. Stykkishólmur is a great place to explore as well with local craft shops and restaurants.

Summary: On the positive side, the hotel common areas and room were very clean and the breakfast was fantastic. The location is nice and is set on a hill looking over the town. The bed was super comfortable and we slept very well. On the not so great side, there was no staff member present for about 10 minutes when trying to check in. Further, for what we paid, I would have expected something better than the small, old tv in the room. For the price we paid for one night you could double the size and quality of the tv. There were also only very limited channel selections. Also, as a Gold member, I would have hoped for an upgrade to a better view as we overlooked the roof and not much more. We stayed at 5 different Fosshotels in Iceland and this is the only one that we had mixed feelings on. Mostly because we feel that we overpaid for what should be a mid range hotel. Particularly when compared to other Fosshotels.

Summary: The room was clean, shower room also clean. The bed was very comfortable. One improvement would be a blackout blind as well as the curtains.

Summary: Very clean and modern hotel. Room was very clean and amazing view. The reception/bar staff were very helpful and kind. If I was being extremely picky, the only thing that was missing in the room was a fridge. I had my milk, yoghurt & medication to keep cold but other than that. Absolutely ideal place to stay and amazing views. Would definitely stay again 😁

Summary: One of the more "corporate" feeling hotels we stayed in during our trip - just felt a little more like a hotel chain and not as personable when compared to other stops. Room was very nice and the view over the water was great.
