Summary: Gorgeous little house with a backyard right on the Fox River. Well furnished and quiet, the "retreat" title is accurate, as it feels pleasantly insulated from the world, but is still close enough to South Elgin and downtown St Charles to be convenient!

Summary: We stayed for two weeks over the holidays visiting family nearby. Home was great. Very clean and owners were very responsive to any questions we had. Beds were comfortable, kitchen was large and clean. We could occasionally hear people in the unit below at night, but not enough to keep us awake. Overall, the place was great and I'd rent it again.

Summary: The stay was set up nice. Really no complaints other than only one bed room had a tv so the other guest had to sit in the living room the majority of the night. Other than that no Complaints
