Summary: Overall a good stay, a nicely converted shop/garage to living space. Open concept but cozy at the same time. Good communication from the owner at checkin. Some suggestions: I would recommend a step be installed in front of the raised bathroom entrance to make it easier for seniors to access. And maybe some partitions to cover the furnace and tanks just for esthetics. Would book again with the step installed. Thanks!!

Summary: We enjoy sitting peacefully by the lake and nearby Owen Sound. The hosts are always gracious and ready to answer any questions. The place was very clean, the bed comfortable, and the television amazing. We have accessibility issues and were able to get around just fine. Highly recommended!

Summary: Fantastic experience from start to finish. Brian snd Stacey were amazing to deal with. They responded to our questions very quickly and the cottage was exactly as shown on the website. The lake, sunsets, fire pit and Peaceful surroundings were everything we were hoping for. The location is excellent for hiking and biking with lions head, the grotto, Owen sound and Meaford all near by. If you’re interested in trying something new I would recommend Teds Range Road Diner in Meaford! Excellent food and great staff! We had been wanting to visit a cottage in the fall for quite some time and this one had everything we were looking for. Would highly recommend!

Summary: We were looking to get away for a couple of days of relaxation. The Francis Lake cottage did the trick. Although it was too late in the season to enjoy the lake, we hope to do so in the future. Owner communication was outstanding. Thank you

Summary: We highly recommend this cottage! The lake is beautiful, and there is a canoe, kayak, and standing paddle board for your use, or you can just sit at the end of the dock, breathe the fresh air and admire the view of Francis Lake. My wife uses a power wheelchair, and the layout of the cottage provided ample room for her to move around. The bedrooms are upstairs and so not wheelchair accessible, but we were able to use one of the sofa beds on the main level. They've got the best fridge and television/sound system we have ever seen in a cottage rental. The hosts were very helpful and accommodating, a pleasure to work with. We would definitely come back.

Summary: Property owner was a real pleasure, the place was awesome, views were great! My 6 friends and I had a blast in the lake and by the fire, great indoor open concept for indoor games and quality time. Great cottage on a clean lake! We will be back for sure!
