Summary: I’m handicapped.. recovering from total knee surgery: I think I’d have preferred a ground floor if there was one? It didn’t seem there was anyone but me there? I was on the top floor which was a little hard for me

Summary: Nice place to stay when you're looking for something different. The room was more than spacious enough, and though there are no per-room controls for the central air, the room did have a fan as well. The shared bathroom wasn't a big deal, potentially because I went to bed and arose early. The house is on a relatively quiet intersection, and is within easy walking distance of the pedestrian streets and dining of downtown Boise. I would happily stay here again!

Summary: There was a Bar on the property near us but wasn't open so it was quiet. Met nice people also staying at the house. Wish we had paid more attention to a parking spot behind the house, parking was a bit difficult. Parking on one side of the house, could not open car door because the curb was my too tall. The house is in a residential area, not like the picture presents. The common kitchen was great.

Summary: The house and rooms are wonderful, very clean. The backyard bar is a lovely place for a beer in the sunshine and you get a complimentary drink for each night! Absolutely no complaints, would stay here again.

Summary: I stayed four nights at Franklin House and was a little anxious about the shared bathroom situation. It all worked out fine though and I never waited to use the shower. I really loved that the places I wanted to visit were within walking distance: the state capitol building, Hyde Park, Camel’s Back Park. There is a drug store and grocery store very close too, along with wine and beers stops. I really loved the beer yard in the back of Franklin House!

Summary: A quaint Victorian with thoughtful touches. My second stay here. Coffee is ready in the morning, the beds are COZY and it has a good vibe!
