Peaceful, stylish country home offering lovely indoor and outdoor areas for entertainment all set in privacy and quiet on five acres.
Between Cambridge and Hamilton, close to the Tamahere area, Avantidrome, airport, Fieldays, Karapiro and easy access to State Highway One.
One hour to Hobbiton, Tauranga and Mount Maunganui, Raglan, Waitomo Caves and within a couple of hours to Taupo (south) and Auckland (north).
The space
A five acre lifestyle block between Cambridge and Hamilton and surrounded by farmland. We have sheep grazing in the joining paddocks, three resident cats and a lovely dog in her very senior years.
Guest access
A very good idea to have your own car to use as there is no nearby public transport - but it is very easy access to SH1 so easy travelling to anywhere.
Other things to note
The space will be yours but we are on the property staying in our version of a tiny home so if you need any help we are there to do so otherwise we will keep to ourselves. We also have tenants in the loft and barn 'next door' but they are self-contained and will not disturb your space!

Summary: We had a lovely family weekend to celebrate a milestone birthday. The grandchildren loved the space and especially the pool, which was well used. A beautiful house and plenty of room for all of us, the art work was magnificent and very comfortable. Great hosts helped make it all seamless and contributed to great stay. Easily accommodated us all 7 adults and 6 children. Thank you.

Summary: Recommend this beautiful family orientated holiday home to anyone looking to just chilax with the family. Plenty space inside and outside, spending quality time with family by the pool, soa. Many quiet spaces outside if you want to get out of the noise. Absolutely stunning home and decorated for Christmas was beautiful. Very welcoming and loving energy, reflects the owners personality I'm sure and they were very quick to answer any questions I had. I didn't get to meet them, even though they are on the property, they just left us to enjoy our stay. They left instructions in each room with yummy chocolates. We even took kids possum hunting in the gorgeous old huge trees that greet you as you enter the property. We weren't going to catch them, just a buzz for the kids. Will definitely go back and enjoy the tranquilness this wonderful holiday home had to offer.

Summary: This was a perfect place for our annual get together with 3 sons, their wives and all our grandchildren. Plenty of rooms, space, bathrooms etc for everyone. All amenities you could ask for, excellent quality. Lovely rural setting and not too far from Auckland. It was PERFECT! I would recommend this to everyone who is prepared to respect that this is a beautiful home with lovely furnishings, where it is a privilege to stay.

Summary: Our family group of twelve gathered together in this beautiful house for a weekend of special 80th birthday celebrations. The house was amazing and so perfect for our group - spacious enough that we could all spread out, yet it still had a really cosy feel about it. We loved the incredible gardens and seated outdoor areas. It was winter so we didn't use the main pool but the spa pool was a big hit with everyone. Janine was wonderful to communicate with, always replying so promptly. She also gave us lots of helpful ideas of activities, cafes and restaurants in the area. Our weekend stay was just perfect in all respects. Thank you so much!
