Summary: We had a wonderful stay at the cabin. The host was fantastic and we loved the area and everything about the property. We stayed there last year but just realized we hadn’t left a review. Such a wonderful cabin.

Summary: The house is very rustic and charming. The game room is in an unfinished basement (in upstate New York winter) which they don’t tell you once the house is non refundable - but the games are also all broken which was disappointing as this was one of the main reasons we booked this house. There was a leak in the smaller bedroom which made half of the room unusable/created an unsafe condition. The caretaker came 3 days after I let the property manager know there was a leak and didn’t even go to the room to check the leak. We found a dead mouse under the kitchen island as well which either reflects a poor cleaning or a severe rodent problem. The saving graces of this house is the accommodating owners who let us checkout late and the view. After bringing up these concerns, I was only refunded $50. If you are planning a group trip with children or teenagers, I recommend looking somewhere else until these issues are addressed.

Summary: The property has an absolutely breathtaking view. We loved the handmade feel of the house and the internet and TV worked perfectly. Only issue was the hot water wasn’t working so we took the coldest showers. Property manager responded quick and groundskeeper came over promptly to try to fix but no luck. Overall still very much enjoyed our stay.

Summary: This property is gorgeous. The mountain views from the deck and upstairs balcony truly can't be beat. The pond was stocked with fish and we caught a bunch! Fantastic cabin experience for sure. Thank you Jon and Maly!

Summary: The view was beautiful and calming. The cabin was cozy and filled with sun each morning. Took advantage of a sunny day to hang out in the deck, put on a fire in the fireplace and grilled burgers and dogs on the propane grill. Kids enjoyed hiking up and down the small hill to the pond and enjoyed seeing the newts, crayfish, and other fish in the pond. They also left out coffee pods and snacks for our arrival.

Summary: I treated my husband to a weekend away and this was the perfect cabin! It was snowing and chilly outside . So we spent the entire weekend cozy and warm inside cooking in the big kitchen, reading by the fire place and doing yoga upstairs in the sunny room over looking the beautiful view from the large windows . The WiFi was strong so we were able to download movies onto our iPads and enjoyed lounging on the large sofas . Beds are comfy and plentiful . Next time we are definitely bringing our 10 year old and dog , as my son was jealous that we had a kick ass games room all to ourselves . We really enjoyed our stay ! And looking forward to exploring the property even more . And will definitely rent in sumner so we can fish in the pond !!!
