This completely renovated cottage is tucked back off the road and sits on 80 acres of land. The owners completely remodeled the cabin and have created 4 miles of hiking (or snowshoeing in the winter) trails for their guests to enjoy.
On the main level, there’s 1 full bathroom and 2 bedrooms each equipped with a queen-sized bed. Additionally, there’s a private upstairs loft with a futon in the hallway and 2 twin beds in the large back room. The kitchen is stocked with all the essentials and boasts new stainless-steel appliances and quartz countertops. The house can accommodate up to 6 guests.
The property is a short 7-minute (we timed it!) drive to the historic Taylors Falls on the beautiful St. Croix River with no shortage of things to do including hiking, biking, water activities, shopping, eateries, and wineries. It’s the perfect town for all ages! Lindstrom is also nearby for those who want to check out this adorable Swedish town.

Summary: We loved this property. Great trails to enjoy the fall weather. The only small gripe I would make would be more comfortable seating in the living room. The wicker chairs weren’t very comfortable. Thanks for a great stay!

Summary: Loved the house, very clean, excellent workmanship. Found 1 bathroom a little much for 6 women but we worked it out. Need railings on back steps. We had a great time!

Summary: This is a really nice cottage outside of Taylors Falls. 6 adults stayed here for a weekend of hiking and visiting a winery. It was recently renovated and it completely up to date kitchen and bath. It is in a rural location so you do need to drive to get to restaurants and shops etc. Owners are super nice and respond quickly to messages.

Summary: Perfect for 6. Beds where very comfortable and the house is nicely renovated. Enjoyed our time and hope next time we have time to explore outside and the trails. Would highly recommend!

Summary: The home was wonderful and very clean, it is a great place to stay if your traveling with children. Their is plenty to do outside to keep them entertained. We where in town for a family reunion, and the home was a great place for us to stay. And the fire pit is nice. We only got to use it the first night because it rained the rest of the time, but it was still relaxing.

Summary: We really enjoyed our time at the cozy cottage. Wonderful property with beautiful trails and a nice fire pit we enjoyed in the evenings. The cottage was very clean and well stocked with the essentials. Quick 10 minute drive to Interstate State Park. Would highly recommend!

Summary: This was our first ever vrbo stay and it couldn’t have been better. The cottage was just as described. So much room for the kids to run and bike. It was so close to everything we wanted to do in town too! We will be coming back for sure! So much better than a hotel.

Summary: We were very impressed with the cleanliness of the entire property. The house was more than sufficiently stocked with supplies, which was greatly appreciated. We enjoyed hiking the trails on the property, as well as playing some indoor games. There was plenty of room to relax in the house; overall we had a great experience and would highly recommend this VRBO listing.
