Summary: Good to know: the tap water is lake water so not suitable for cooking and drinking, you need to bring water; toilet paper is not provided; bed linens are provided but not bath or beach towels. There were two propane tanks for the bbq but one was completely empty and the other was only partially filled so we ran out after 3 or 4 dinners. Not sure if it was our responsibility to refill but thought that would be provided. The large bed in the master bedroom was very comfortable and so was the lower bunk in the bunkie but the other beds were not. The 3 young adults in our group really liked the bunkie! (The bunkie can sleep 4 people, not 5 as in the description in the ad). There were a lot of positives at this cottage: beautiful view of the lake, small table and chairs on the patio were great and a nice surprise as they were not on the photos, water temperature was wonderful for swimming, the firepit by the lake, the wifi and dishwasher were nice to have and cell phone service was good, the inflatable kayak was great and we enjoyed both canoes even though there were only two paddles for them. Nicolette answered questions quickly. We had a great week and would go back :-)

Summary: Host was easily accessible for questions via message. Cottage was fantastic and had pretty much everything you'd need for a great weekend. Very roomy, she accurate with description. Can easily fit the amount of guest allowed in description. We were 6 people and had plenty of room.

Summary: The facility lived up to our expectations as much as we could tell. Unknown to the owner, the bbq was not working but she hired someone to fix it and they had it going by evening. On our 2nd day we were struck by a catastrophic storm. Branches flying, trees falling and wind 140 km/hr. In half hour it had past and we were able to right all the furniture outside but the power remained out through to our departure. With power we had no running water or flushing abilities. We boiled water on the bbq and washed up the best we could.

Summary: This cottage is very nicely renovated and clearly, the owners have excellent interior design taste. The open living/kitchen/sunroom makes for a very pleasant interior experience. Too bad that the sunroom windows are so high. When you sit down you can only see the far shore. There are few stairs down to the water and a lovely seating area by the waters edge that we quite enjoyed. Wish the dock were wider because it could only accommodate two chairs side by side. Walking into the water was a bit tricky but the bottom is sandy around the dock but otherwise weedy. The property faces south which is fantastic if its not too hot, but it would have been better if there was some shade structure either by the water or beside the house on the upper deck. No dining table on the outside deck, just lounge chairs and a high top table for two. Renovations in the house are not complete and did not show up on the photos or description for the property. The second bedroom is partially a utility closet that houses the washer dryer, chest freezer and cleaning mops. Very little storage space for cloths or person stuff. The big bedroom was much better but still needed some work to complete the renovation. The cottage would benefit from a binder with information on how to run the heating/cooling system and the ceiling fans. We found that batteries for the remotes were old and we had to go and buy new ones in order to make things run. There is very funky smell that comes up through the ducts - sort of sewagy - we found that running the duct fans kept it tolerable. I hope that gets fixed sometime soon. The kayak was the inexpensive blowup kind but the canoe was OK. All in all the cottage was lovely and we had a great time. We would have been happier if the hosts had been more organized and left spaces neater. Our sense was that they thought it was just a cottage and therefore the expectations of guests would be more casual.

Summary: We really enjoyed our family stay at this cottage. Everything was clean and neat. Spectacular lake view nested in forest. The weather was cold and rainy so we could not use canoes or swim, but just hiking around and sitting around fire at the lake was very relaxing. The place best accommodates 5 adults which was fine for our family, three beds are in a separated Bunkie which is not convenient for larger groups.

Summary: We had a great time up at this property for the Canada day weekend. We arrived and it was such an easy check in process. Nicolette had everything that we needed and more. We would absolutely stay here again, and next time book it earlier and for a longer stay!
