Summary: If you're looking for a place where you can get away with friends and family and enjoy the outdoors this is the place to be. Located right near the Hudson river, close to a number of golf courses and a bunch of great hiking trails. Very comfortable three bedrooms with air conditioning and a quiet neighborhood. Great house for the outdoor lover.

Summary: Cute house only reason I didn't give it 5 stars was shower and bedrooms were upstairs. We traveled with semi handicap father and the steep stairs made it tough on him. Just think that should be noted somewhere so people are aware.

Summary: We had a lovely girls getaway weekend in Beacon at Coonawarra! The location is absolutely amazing we were within 10 miles of every place we wanted to go. Nicole was great to work with.

Summary: We came to Beacon to visit family, and to participate/support in the Breakneck Point Trail Marathon. The owner was very welcoming and responsive and very helpful for our family's visit, providing everything we needed and more. The house was stocked with all the incidentals we might have needed but forgotten. I wish we could have stayed longer, to take better advantage of the amenities in the house and the area. (Such as the fire pit and the hiking trails.)

Summary: Amazing getaway with my family! The house was comfortable, it was stocked with everything we needed and I didn't have to worry about my toddler and baby breaking anything because the house was well fit for family fun. We played games, watched tv, turned up the music, danced the night away and the best part we went outside to make snores at the fire pit. It was the best Christmas ever. Quiet and amazing family fun time. The owner was exceptional, she had a Christmas tree set up for us before we came, there were maps of places to explore and eat. We had everything we needed. I even forgot a few things after we left and she so seeetly mailed it to us. You can't beat a great space and amazing service. THIS is the place for both and then some. I can't wait to rent again! We're thinking of making it a tradition. Thank you so much for a great great time!!

Summary: Our stay at Coonawarra was exceptional. Not only did the host provide everything we needed to cook a family Thanksgiving dinner, she answered all of our questions promptly so we could fully enjoy the area around Beacon. Of special note are the woods surrounding the home, the creek behind and the mountains beyond, all of which provided much enjoyment for our family (ages 2 to 65). The house was well-equipped with everything we needed and was a great place to gather.

Summary: The owner was very accommodating and the home was perfect. We we were a group of five friends and there was plenty of room. The fire pit and the BBQ made dinners a lot of fun. The nearby trails made hiking easyily accessible. 23 had a great time!

Summary: We spent the weekend in Beacon and booked this house. Its about 10 min away from town and the house was perfect for a party of 5. We woke up to deer and turkeys running around in the yard. Later that day we walked around the corner and took a hike up a trail. Perfect location!
