Summary: Don’t judge this book by its cover. The room was newly built and super clean. The motel rooms are above the truck stop and liquor store. The Gallops Motel is part of a cafe/truck stop/liquor store that was built to resemble an actual castle. The rooms were huge with a large bathroom, full living area with multiple couches and our bedroom had matching king sized beds. Had a great stay for a great price.

Summary: It is not what I expected but was super convenient. If you didn’t know you have to go into the convenience store to check in. The rooms are upstairs from it. They’re clean and spacious and the bathroom spacious. It all looks very new and having a 24 hour convenience store right down the elevator is nice to have for drinks and food. They do have a Mexican restaurant that we didn’t get to try before we left but it is also right in the same building and a gas station is right on the property too.

Summary: It was a little hard to tell which door was the entrance but we figured it out. Basically, it's a truckstop with a motel above it. It's convenient because you can get snacks, food, or drinks if you need to. Room was clean. Checked mattress for bed bugs, didn't see any. Mattress had a fitted pad but needed a fitted sheet to go over it. Mattress had several small stains on it Good size shower but unless the little wire basket was supposed to go inside the shower, there was no ledges or shelves to sit shampoo and soap on. There was a shower wand I'm pretty sure was supposed to be able to clamp in place at height you wanted but it didn't work. There was a light shower that came out of the ceiling, so that helped a little. I slipped twice in the shower but didn't fall. Needs to have a slip resistant coating put on it. I mean, it was fine for one night. Basically, the person running the store inside checks you in as well. They had an extra person so there was no wait checking in. One of the employees made me fresh coffee when I asked. There was a Keurig in the room but I would rather have fresh ground coffee beans, so that was my decision. All in all, it was fine for one night.

Summary: The room was spectacular!! It was quite odd to find the motel in a convenience-liquor store. The room was well worth the stay! Clean, smelled good, very nice furniture. Very comfortable bed and linens, with an upscale bathroom. I was impressed.

Summary: It did take about 10 minutes for someone to come check us in. But other than that, no complaints. It’s kind of a unique setting, as the motel is one portion of a very large building that also houses a restaurant, liquor store and a humongous “convenience” type store. That building from the outside is built to sort of resemble a castle, which is kind of fun…

Summary: Amazing place for the cost. A little strange on the top of a liquor store, but the rooms are impressive and very clean with cool thoroughbred horse pictures on the walls!.

Summary: What a hidden gem! This hotel is super clean and comfortable, and the huge convenience store and Mexican restaurant on site make leaving once you arrive completely unnecessary. The owners have obviously given thought to what makes an overnight stay comfortable - an ultra-clean and quiet room, blackout shades, plush towels and bedding, comfortable mattresses, good quality coffee, and a hot rain shower to boot!

Summary: I mean…a motel located above and inside a truck stop? This place was perfect for the prize and location. Came here for two nights for a running race and I was blown away. It had great reviews so I was hopeful. Vivek helped me check and made it super easy. The room was SPACIOUS! It was clean, had shampoo , conditioner and body wash. What motel does that? A microwave, candy, water and coffee. Honestly I would come back again and again. The size of the room alone was amazing. Two shower heads in the shower was a plus. Parking right outside and a convenience store just downstairs! Perfect!
