Positive: I enjoyed the studio overall. It was nice to have open space and be able to be together as a whole. Everything was provided. Easy to use. They even had a steamer which I needed one. I liked the communication as well.
Negative: I didn't enjoy the bed that was on the left side corner by the bathroom. As soon as one of my family members was ready to lie down the bed basically collapsed. They fixed it and again it happened. It was a very weak bed with a cheap base. Also we saw about 2 big roaches one in the kitchen and one in the bedding area just crawling by.. I despise them. The sheets didn't smell fresh at all. uncomfortable beds as well. And if you get the lower level be ready to sleep all together in one open area in a corner. 3 beds and one trundle bed under another one. Very stiff bedding too . Definitely need to update their beds. My bil was afraid to move because of the bed collapsing again. The entrance is super narrow as well. We were confused as to where the entrance was . Best to be more detailed and specific as there was some confusion. Basically a garage turned into a studio is what we got.. a lot of open crevices on the edge of the baseboards. Definitely need to cover that up so roaches won't get in. It was good overall. Just those minor details that didn't make us feel too comfortable as we slept. And all that extra work/ cleaning you have to do before you check out. What's the point of the $115 plus cleaning fee they charge if you are basically doing it for them? A bit odd.

Negative: one of the mini split AC's didn't work, so it wasn't cool enough. the pathway to the the door was very tight and almost impossible to get luggage down it.

Negative: It took a long time to get the door open, I tried the code and finally got the lock box code to use the key, this also took a long time to open. Finally when I got inside and put my items down and tried to leave, the door was stuck. I tried for about 15 minutes to open the door and a friend and her son had to come and get me out. Once I returned for the evening, around 8pm, there was a man there (from the company) to help me get in. He let me know there was a back door that could be used but was covered in bushes and that they would come back tomorrow and cut the bushes down, they did not. As a result of them not cutting the brushes I got poison ivy on my leg.

Positive: I liked being able to bring our dogs. It was close to where my Mom lives and we were there for a quick visit. It really is a great spot for a family who is looking to spend some time at the beach. We just came in late and basically spent the night. Wish we could have been there longer.
Negative: It was fine but it was unusual not having any windows. However, it was nice and dark and allowed us to sleep in which we needed. Also the shower never put out any hot water even though we did actually let it run for awhile. Not that big of a deal though as we were there for such a short time.
Summary: Great stay in a great location to see my Mom in Galveston.
