3 Bedroom House in Cape Charles

Welcome to Cape Glen Haven in the Historic District of Cape Charles, where the porch sitting is top notch! The 1933 Craftsman style home has a fully fenced backyard and is Pet Friendly! Snuggle up next to the fire pit under the twinkle lights and your very own game barn which features, (pool table, skee-ball, ping pong, and corn hole). Plan a day at the beach that's just a short 2 block walk or enjoy Central Park right outside your door. The towns Restaurants and Shops are just stroll down the street (2 blocks away) with boutique shops and restaurants that you can enjoy watching the sunset over the bay. We are right next to Central Park fountain, sit on the porch and listen to concerts in the park!
Inside Space:
Enter from the porch you walk into the historic Craftsman style family room w/ smart TV and sectional sofa. The dining room is on your left, with extendable table and plenty of seating. Continue into the fully stocked kitchen. 1st floor Laundry room is just off the kitchen. The back door off the Kitchen leads to a utility room w/ 1/2 Bathroom. Continue out the backdoor to the fully fenced backyard. The private outdoor shower is on your right.
Upstairs there are 3 bedrooms and a newly remodeled full bathroom. King bed in the Master, Queen bed in the 2nd room which has its own porch w/ seating area. The 3rd bedroom upstairs has 2 custom bunk beds with trundles (6 twin beds in total in kids rooms).
Outside Space:
The front porch has lots of seating including a large porch swing and several Adirondacks.
The fenced backyard is designed for family fun regardless of the weather. A fire pit, Adirondacks, picnic table, fenced yard to keep kids and pets safe and of course the Game Barn! The Game Barn has a porch with swings, pool table/ping pong, Skeeball, wine barrel chairs, and mini fridge! There is also an outdoor shower attached to the back of the house for rinsing off after a beach day.

Summary: The home is as advertised. It was comfy and in a great location with the park across the street, the beach just down the road and the main street shops also close. The front porch was our favorite location in the house.

Summary: House was absolutely perfect. Outdoor space was fantastic for our corgi (yard and gated porch) to play. Plenty of room for older kids to spread out into the game barn. Very easy walk to the beach or town. Owners were lovely and very quick and thorough with communication. We’ve loved Cape Charles for years - but this is a new favorite!

Summary: This was the greatest house and we loved the game barn. It was just as advertised. My kids had a blast. We even played some of the games that were in the living room. The kitchen is very well stocked and the grill worked great. This place was amazing!!

Summary: The owners have done a great job renovating an historic home. It was clean, comfortable and had all the little things we needed. It was 95 so we did spend much time in the party barn, but it was a great place to hang out after dark. We were worried about 1.5 bathrooms, but the outdoor shower was nice, and I don't think anyone showered inside. Great house and great location.

Summary: Beautiful home located next to a nice park and 2 blocks to everything. Friendly, gracious hosts, Michael & Ashleigh were very interested in making our stay exciting and memorable. They provided us with information covering every possible places or things to do in Cape Charles. They are quick to respond to questions and went above and beyond to help us find a golf cart rental when we were unable to find one. We had a wonderful vacation.We would definitely stay here again.

Summary: This property and the owners were great! The game barn was awesome to have especially since we had rain a couple days. So many things were provided with the house which was very helpful (kitchen utensils, beach towels, beach chairs, bike, shampoo/cond/wash, and more). The decor was wonderful and property is well kept and in an excellent location. The electronics, wifi, and AC all worked great. We always travel with our firestick for kids and used it on this trip in a guest room. We all had a great time and after many years of visiting CC, we may have finally found our favorite property and will be back!

Summary: We had the BEST time at this house. The front porch was truly magical. We spent so much time on the porch swing and relaxing on the porch which might be the best porch in all of Cape Charles. We had a toddler and a dog and the house was perfect for both of them and we very much appreciated the gate on the front porch to keep them all contained. The kitchen was equipped with everything you could need and everything in the house was very comfortable. Our toddler loved all the books and games that the house came with also. Only complaint is the water gets VERY hot very quickly in the house so we had to be very careful bathing the toddler or washing hands to make sure no one got burned.

Summary: Our group was made up of two couples and two 17 year olds. The home was generously stocked and just the right fit for us. The game barn gave us a space to relax later into the evening! We rented a golf cart to “haul” our stuff to the beach but - with a beach access at the end of the street - it was a nice, short walk back to the house for restroom breaks or drink/snack refills! The park and splash pad are right across the street. We also loved starting our days relaxing on the large front porch having coffee and then appetizers before heading out to dinner. We will definitely visit Cape Charles again and hope this house is available when we return!
