Positive: Great place with a great family that runs it. Located in San Juan near all the things you need such as stores, food, beaches, ect. Right on the ocean -- some rooms ocean facing you see the ocean / the others are a nice jungle vibe with amazing vegetation. Comfortable beds / air conditioners work good. Wifi is good so you can work / stream / stay in touch with the outside world. Prices are good for what you get. Would come back.

Negative: Being on the island expect brownouts some days (only part of the day). This is out of control of the owner but be prepared to lose power / wifi at times.

Summary: Amazing ocean-side bungalow with a great friendly owner, comfortable rooms and good wifi for work

Positive: The Garden Bungalow Resort is well located close to Siquijor ferry terminal and town, but still secluded just outside the town in a beautiful and calm location surrounded by forest. It's tropical garden and the pool are perfect to relax. The owner and staff are very welcoming and helpful with lots of advice for the island. Scooters can be rented at the place or other transportation can be organized. Siquijor is a small island, so everything can be reached easily from the resort by scooter, car or tricycle. The room was very clean and the beds comfy. We also enjoyed delicious breakfasts there. Thanks so much again for all the hospitality!

Positive: We have visited several times, and the kids just love the pool and spend hours swimming and diving. The pick up service from the ferry makes the transfer from the harbor easy even with kids and luggage. Siquijor itself is fantastic: * It feels completely safe. * Even when given the opportunity of overcharging local attractions just charged the sticker price. - The cashiers always remembered that kids only pay kids price. - TucTuc fares were fair without surprises. * The children loved swimming with the turtles at Apo island, and we were lucky to see dolphins on the way back. * Locals are really friendly.

Positive: I has an amazing stay and wish I had spent an additional day on the island which is very peaceful and relaxing. I was picked up from the port and able to rent a scooter on the spot which was very convenient. I also got a lot of useful advice of places to visit in Siquijor and nice places to eat. Highly recommended !!

Negative: Not too much of an issue here but 2 minor things: 1. The small road leading to the accommodation was in bad shape. Beyond their control. 2. The shower was roasting hot. I’m sure this can be easily fixed.

Positive: Very peaceful place! Bong, who picked us up from the port, was super welcoming and helpful with everything. The location was great for our purpose and we very much enjoyed our time on the island! There are many dogs around on the property, it is very green and it was clean! The American breakfast was yummy and it was relaxing to eat in the Gazebo. Also a great plus: the fresh drinking water one could take from the dispenser at the bar.

Negative: The water pressure was very low and there was no fresh fruit for breakfast.

Summary: Very green and peaceful, animal friendly place!
