Positive: We felt at home! Marlene and David along with Jean Luc are super host! They arranged also a car rental at a good price and helped us making the most of our time in Mahe. We found a lot of fresh local fruit in the fridge! Marlene was way too kind to let us have a a shower before our flight even after the check out time. Thank you for everything!

Positive: Lovely and clean, comfortable bed and everything you needed there. Marlene and David were great hosts and we were well looked after with plenty of fresh delicious fruits. We were picked up from the airport (much cheaper than taxis and also hired a car for the day from their don). Very short walk to the supermarket, easy 5 min walk to the nearest beach and 10 mins walk to restaurants. Great location.
Summary: Ideally situated near beach, shops, restaurants. Clean,comfortable accommodation with great hosts.

Positive: This is just an excellent place to stay. The hosts are the sweetest and kindest people you'll ever meet and everything is within walking distance. A lot of people have praised this place and I can only say that it's better than all the praise being deservedly showered upon this lodging. Stay and you'll love it!

Positive: Loved the hospitality of the place. Marlene and David were the best hosts. The kitchen was fully stocked with all the essentials, the garden was very well kept. Wish could have stayed for longer, we’ve heard a lot about their barbecue.

Positive: The hosts - Marlene and David were absolutely wonderful. Very accommodating, and thoughtful (Marlene left us some breakfast in the room which we thought was very kind). The garden hut has all the facilities that you need. Comfortable and quiet, great location, close to the restaurants and local bars. Wish we stayed there longer! Next time!

Positive: Everything! A lovely reception from Marlene and David and their family. A spotlessly clean ‘garden hut’ with a covered patio, a comfortable bedroom, a well-equipped small kitchen and a bright, clean bathroom. Marlene and David’s hospitality is second to none! The location is a 10 minute (max) walk to the main road and on to the beaches, a supermarket and bus stop just 2 minutes away. We walked to the Takamaka Rum Distillery which was 30 minutes away. Fine other than it was hot and humid, but worth the walk. There are a couple of good restaurants on the main road less than a 15 minute walk. We were fortunate to have 2 nights here as I’m sure lots of people just have 1 night as it’s near the airport but we had a really chilled time relaxing on the patio and enjoying their garden. Marlene provided welcome pack with breads, butter, milk, fruit and jams.
Summary: Excellent stay - worth more than one night!
