Positive: There really was nothing that we didn’t like. The village is beautiful, the house is amazing, the grounds are stunning and the whole weekend was perfect. Jackie the host was fantastic from start to finish. We highly recommend this property.

Negative: Nothing, the property was perfect. Just a couple of small things that would make it a 10+ : 1) Recliner or outdoor sofa would be an amazing addition 2) Entrance to the drive is a little tricky (signage and reduce the shrubs on the fence line would make it perfect) We absolutely loved our stay FYI and found it very difficult to find fault with anything.

Summary: The most relaxing stay in a tranquil settling.

Positive: The setting was serene, a far cry from the bustle of home, and just what we needed. The furniture was very comfortable. We liked the croissants and such that were left for us, meaning we could relax that bit more both mornings. But we are truly grateful to the owners for kindly offering us a lift to a nearby venue, at which we were due to attend a wedding reception - this was above and beyond!

Negative: It is very difficult default as it met all the needs of our two-day stay. The external door could do with a doorstop as it was lovely having the fresh breeze but not so lovely having to get up every so often when the door kept shutting: I used my shoes in the end. The wi-fi doesn’t work when in the bedroom.

Summary: Comfortable, friendly and thoughtful.

Positive: Lovely welcome pack which meant we had breakfast for our first morning without having to go to the shops. Apartment was all high spec with plenty of instructions for everything. Record player was an unexpected bonus. Most of the records were completely our taste.

Negative: After leaving we realised we had left a charger behind. We emailed and phoned both numbers provided but have had no response, which was disappointing

Summary: Beautiful apartment in lovely surroundings in quiet village. Very relaxing.
