Positive: Set in a lovely village and the house was warm and clean

Negative: There was no minimum basics like shower gel or shampoo in the bathrooms. Water pressure was terrible and you could only use one bathroom at a time or the water would go off in the upstairs bathroom. Tried running a bath but the water was cold through the bath filler and incredibly slow so I gave up. No salt and pepper in the kitchen which helps if you’re only there for a couple of nights. I think it feels mean when you have a couple of nights away and these things aren’t provided for the price.

Summary: Would recommend if the water/ shower situation is fixed

Negative: Plumbing is hurrendous and I mean horrendous would take at least 30 mins to run a bath. Plumbing seriously needs sorting asap, fireplace be warned DO NOT use unless u want to be smoked out. Chimney seriously needs clean out

Negative: The bathroom showers were difficult to operate, the water was either very hot or very cold, we couldn't get it to mix. The dishwasher doesn't work properly. Other than that, brilliant location, gorgeous cosy cottage.
