This beautiful home, has everything you need to enjoy the quiet serenity of the beach as well as the historic city of Galveston. Just a couple of hundred yards from the beach, you will have an amazing view of the Gulf. Have your morning coffee on one of the two expansive decks while enjoying the breathtaking view. Garrett’s Grotto features a beautiful, open concept kitchen with premium appliances and stocked with everything needed to prepare meals. On the first floor you will find a master queen ensuite. Upstairs, there is a second master king ensuite, with private deck access, along with, a third master queen ensuite, as well as a bunkroom with private bath. There are TVs in every room and Wifi throughout the house. It is a family oriented space designed for your comfort and enjoyment! Garrett's Grotto is located between Galveston and Jamaica Beach, the perfect place to refax after a fun filled day.

Summary: We had a great time over Spring Break. Everyone in our group loved the house, we all had our own bathroom, which is always a plus. The kitchen is awesome and the porch and downstairs covered area is so nice. We rented a golf cart and some bicycles and rode to the beach everyday! Super house and great location!

Summary: We rented this house for Labor Day weekend with friends. It’s so much nicer than the pictures show! It’s a quick walk to the beach in a nice, quiet neighborhood and the beach is very nice. We have no complaints. Highly recommend!

Summary: The size of this house was absolutely perfect; I loved the fact that all the adults got their own bedroom and bathroom, plus the kids had a bathroom all to themselves (not to mention the extra half bath)! The house is beautifully decorated with all new fixtures and furnishings and located in a lovely neighborhood. It’s a little walk down to the beach, but when we were there (beginning of August), our section of the beach was practically empty, which was great. I was somewhat concerned about being able to see the ocean from the deck of the house due to the green belt between the house and the beach, but my concerns were quickly alleviated - the view is great, and you can hear the soothing sound of waves crashing on the beach. I was also impressed by how responsive the owner was; every time I messaged her, she was quick in sending a reply. All in all, this house was an amazing find, and we plan to stay again in the future if it’s not already all booked up!
