Negative: If you don't order the breakfast the day before, you get nothing to eat. Bad experience.
Summary: I would not recommend this hotel... Staff needs to be trained in the hospitality.

Positive: The location was great, very nice staff, with a good restaurant. (And very good ice cream!) The room was comfy. No problem with parking.
Negative: The WIFI did not work in our room. Evidently their system doesn't extend to all the rooms in the hotel. (It works in the restaurant portion.) Also, they shut down in the afternoon, no one is there. You just have to remember that this is a family run place, there isn't staff available at a moment's notice at some points in the day.

Positive: Super clean, comfortable bed, spacious room. Helpful staff. Pleasant village well connected by bus to Herrsching and the S-bahn to Munich
Negative: Located on a road junction, with a chiming church tower across the road (just during the day). Had a slight feeling of the Marie Celeste - felt like I was the only person in the building at times. If you are looking for buzz and atmosphere, probably not for you. If you are looking for functional and clean, it is great. Did not have breakfast there as felt I’d be the only person in the breakfast room but went to a lovely cafe round the corner.
