Positive: All the staff I encountered were wonderful.

Negative: The whole hotel feels like a hospital or minimum security prison, everything is in very cold colors and the chosen surfaces, room configurations, and textiles are very clinical. I felt like I was sleeping in a hospital bed. There isn't a selection of amenities or services available. The showers were weird leaky walk in ones that you would find in a locker room, but the bathroom floors don't have drains necessary to drain the water that flows out. The shower heads don't actually fit the shower stalls, and can only point to a corner of the stall, meaning water is *always* spraying outside the walk-in area. The tvs and ports were either out of date or not working, and I was a little surprised they didn't at least have a smart tv to use personal apps on since they only provided low resolution and small selection 80s style cable. The breakfast provided was very poor, either very dry prepackaged food or overcooked basics like scrambled egg clumps congealed under a heat lamp. Not even a decent coffee and tea selection. I was shocked to learn it was a recently created hotel, because it looked incredibly out of date, didn't have an inviting atmosphere, and felt almost spooky to stay in. The problems I had were clearly the result of poor management decisions that didn't benefit from hospitality experience, and not any of the staff who assisted me with my stay. Their genuine kindness and helpfulness and interest in my stay was the one reason I didn't leave early. The last thing that was bizarre that I have to mention was that their conference "room" was just a big conference table in the middle of the lobby, right next to the main entrance where people come and go. Every time I walked by I thought it was there temporarily, but no, it never moved and had chairs perfectly lined up at it! I hope.
