Summary: My stay at the Gateway was nothing short of incredible. The building is an older building but they keep it immaculate. I could not see one deferred maintenance item on the property. The room was exceptionally clean, well appointed and the beds very comfortable. It was very hot outside but they had turned on the AC so the room felt amazing when we stepped inside. Even the ice machine was new looking. The pool is one of the best I've ever seen. It was recently redone and is the darkest, cleanest blue water. There was an automatic cleaner working the bottom. Stuff you expect to find in a 4 star big city hotel. The front desk staff was outstanding and very helpful. We were there for 1 night and had ridden in on motorcycles. We woke up to an unexpected rain squall passing through the area. On the way to breakfast I noticed the front desk clerk had rolled up 4 small.towels and placed them on our motorcycles. Who does that? I had noticed the small basket in the lobby when checking in that has small towels in them and a sign asking guests to use those towels for wiping things instead of using the room towels. Breakfast was basic and covered our needs. I hope I can find a reason to come back to Grangeville just to stay at The Gateway again. We were just passing through, but the room was one of the highlights of the trip. I could not recommend them more.

Summary: Check in staff were very friendly and the welcome bag with snacks was a plus! The rooms are not big or plush, but it was a nice comfortable stay for one night!

Summary: The young man at check-in was fantastic! Very personable, explained the amenities such as breakfast, suggested an excellent restaurant and gave us a coupon for 10% off. He was so friendly and helpful!
