Unique and recently renovated 2br mudbrick house capturing the dominance of the Yarra Valley Ranges and the rural vista of Gembrook. Centrally located with a 5 min picturesque walk to the centre of town. Across the road is the Eastern Ranges walking/cycling track and the hub of Puffing Billy. Discover the history of this historical timber town.
The house has a charming open plan design with indoor and outdoor dining in a garden setting. An oasis for a relaxing break. Enjoy the outside Fire Pit.
Within reach of the township is Kirth Kiln, Bunyip State Forrest, bush walking trails, the recently renovated skate and family park. Wonder at the tall trees of Gembrook Park. Browse through what Gembrook has to offer. Explore the craft cottage and the car museum. Fossick the local Opportunity Shop and then spoil yourself with the choice of eateries and Tavern.
Have now included a high chair for the not so beefy kids and a porta cot to make travelling easier. No cot bedding will be provided though

The back yard is totally enclosed with fencing and lockable side gates. Added builders fencing for those canines that are as tall as us. Our Cairn terrier can make no escape.
Long weekends are a minimum of a 3 nights.

Summary: Well appointed, very comfortable accommodation with lovely view. Location easy access to rail trail for cycling or walking. Highly recommend for two couples. Fabulously appointed kitchen, dining and lounge area. Could be challenging if you have someone with mobility issues - steps from bedroom area to living /dining and steep driveway. We will definitely be back 🙂

Summary: Great litlle house, really good location close to town. Only negative is the steep driveway, but i guess you get that when your in the hills.

Summary: Very clean, tidy. Little added extras made all the difference. Very secure yard for our two small dogs. Would definitely recommend this . Gembrook area is really a little hidden gem

Summary: The property was perfect. We had everything we needed for our stay. We didn't know how to operate the electric fire place, so we didn't take a chance; so we took the reverse heating option. The house can get really cold! and beware of the centipedes/some sort of creepy crawly on the walls and floors. We parked up and not down the driveway as its steep. Over-all I would stay there again if I had to.

Summary: I absolutely loved the home and the location. Great communication and the Host welcomed us. A delightful home with more than what we would've expected. I strongly recommend this property if you are planning to do excursions around the Dandenong ranges. 10 out of 10

Summary: A lovely, small mudbrick house in a quiet location. Well resourced with secure yard for our dog. IGA supermarket and dining options a walkable distance away. Also a lovely walking trail close by. Would highly recommend for relaxing break.

Summary: Easy to rent, easy to get to. Lovely owners with good communication. Gembrook is a perfect location. There was enough space for 2 cars. There is a steep driveway but not too bad. 3 steps inside the house but nowhere else. Loved the spacious design and big TV. Tv had no cable channels but had netflix. The bbq was small but we didn't use it. Lots of seating! Thoughtfully stocked with brekkie items and condiments. The shower flooded in main bathroom due to design flaw. The heater didn't work, neither did the microwave. The beds were big and comfy. Could have been cleaner, was a bit dusty, but not too bad. A beautiful home, new and modern
